Ab Rauf said the initiative is in line with the Melaka Sayang Rakyat (MeSRa) agenda, which emphasises the state government's commitment to prioritising public well-being through faster, more accessible and effective service delivery.

He added that the state government is confident the drive-through pharmacy service will enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery while contributing to a better quality of life for the people of Melaka. β€” Bernama

TAPAH, June 8 β€” Female climber Jaslinda Saludin has lost almost 10 kilogrammes after being missing for 14 days while climbing Gunung Batu Putih.

Tapah Hospital director Dr Wan Immi Salim however said that Jaslinda, 49, was in very stable condition and was able to eat and communicate very well.

β€œHer leg was in cast due to the injuries suffered but God willing she will recover quickly with rehabilitation and treatment,” she said when met by reporters at Tapah Hospital here today.

Earlier, Dr Wan Immi accompanied Perak Human Resources, Health, Indian Community Affairs and National Integration Committee chairman Datuk A. Sivanesan and state Communications, Multimedia and NGO Committee chairman Mohd Azlan Helmi to visit Jaslinda at the hospital.

In addition, she said that examinations found that the victim had several injuries to her body as a result of being in the forest for a long period of time and it is expected that she will be allowed to return home in the near future.

Asked about the emotional state of the victim, Dr Wan Immi said Jaslinda showed high spirits and a positive attitude throughout receiving treatment and that this was the main factor that helped the victim recover quickly.

Meanwhile, Mohd Azlan shared that Jaslinda had informed that she wanted to recover quickly and be discharged from the hospital because she wanted to return to work and attend her son’s convocation ceremony later.

β€œI saw that although there was a slight injury to her leg, I am confident that in a few days she will be able to go out and continue her life as usual,” he said.

Last Saturday, Jaslinda was found in a weak condition near Kampung Lubuk Gaharu, Pos Musoh at about 5pm by several Orang Asli residents.

The woman was reported missing while participating in the Trans Spencer Chapman hike on May 23 via the Pos Gedung-Gunung Bah Gading-Gunung Batu Putih-Kuala Woh route together with 13 individuals and two forestry mountain guides. β€” BernamaΒ

In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, the HA said that it had noticed some social media posts discussing an intern doctor’s alleged professional misconduct at different hospitals.

β€œThe HA considers the matter extremely serious, affecting the professional image of healthcare staff,” the statement said.

The authority said it had reported to the police the suspected case of β€œsomeone who logged into the Clinical Management System at Caritas Medical Centre (CMC) with another person’s account and accessed patient records at Tuen Mun Hospital without authorisation.”

β€œThe HA has immediately suspended the clinical duties of the intern doctor concerned and a resident doctor at Tuen Mun Hospital, and has also suspended their access right[s] to the system in order to protect patient and system security,” it said.

β€œThe HA has notified the medical school of the relevant university to follow up on the intern doctor’s assessment of being fit for practice.”

According to the statement, before the suspensions, the HA had previously issued a serious warning to the trainee doctor for committing an inappropriate act during an internship at Ruttonjee Hospital and taken disciplinary action against the intern doctor and another resident doctor at CMC.Β

It had also taken disciplinary action against the intern doctor and another resident doctor for misconduct at CMC.

The HA’s move comes after a trainee doctor, who published videos documenting her medical internship, allegedly used medical equipment without authorisation to X-ray her own knee and posted a photo of the procedure on social media.

She was also suspected of asking her boyfriend, a resident doctor at Tuen Mun Hospital, to come to Ruttonjee Hospital, where she was interning, to assist her with a medical procedure.

The Soul of the Stout: A Journey Through Traditional Pub Culture

Description
A cinematic and evocative photographic collection capturing the essence of traditional pub culture and the artistry of dark beer. From the warm, rain-slicked exterior of historic stone taverns to the precise craft of pouring the perfect pint, this series explores the deep textures and rich atmosphere of classic gathering spaces. Visual highlights include extreme macro shots of cascading nitrogen bubbles, the rich velvety texture of the creamy foam head, raw roasted malts held in weathered hands, and intimate moments shared under dim, candlelit interiors. The imagery seamlessly blends rustic wood elements, polished brass taps, and vibrant neon reflections to evoke a timeless sense of warmth, companionship, and brewing heritage.

Note: This entire photo series was conceptually designed and generated using Artificial Intelligence.
