Stylistically, Maya Hawke likes to bounce around. From geek-chic clashing prints to '30s glamour, androgynous punk, and uptown sophistication, her style repertoire knows no bounds. At her latest appearance in New York City, the actor also proved she can just as easily step into the layered, '60s-inspired look recently favored by Prada, her go-to design house.
At the opening night of the brand’s Prada Mode pop-up at the Hotel Chelsea, Hawke stepped out in a light blue shirtdress that wouldn’t have looked out of place 60 years ago. Her knee-length style included a collared silhouette with a bow-tied waist, layered under a matching 3/4-sleeved coat that, in true Prada fashion, was covered in a pale yellow and white floral print. Naturally, she carried a coordinating Prada bag, as well: a small white version of the label’s signature Galleria tote.

While Hawke’s '60s look embraced lighter hues, her footwear grounded her ensemble with an unexpectedly hard edge. The Stranger Things star’s outfit was finished with a low-heeled pair of black pumps from Prada’s fall 2026 collection, cinched with cobalt blue straps atop each of its pointed toes.

That same concept echoes across the event’s guests. While Shailene Woodley and Sophia Lillis opted for summery all-white looks, Molly Gordon and Ella Mendelsohn embraced darker ‘90s-inspired palettes of black and inky blue. With attire spanning casual denim, quirky ‘60s geometric prints, subtle neutral knits, and shimmering party-girl sequins, attendees like Myha’la, AnnaSophia Robb, Allison Williams, and Hunter Schafer also showed a full spectrum of what “Prada” dressing looks like now. While common threads were certainly apparent through colors and accessories, no guest dressed in exactly the same codes or silhouettes—proving the brand’s multi-faceted nature, which Hawke’s embodied wholeheartedly on and off the red carpet.
Now, we’re just waiting to see what Prada look Hawke wears next. Perhaps fall’s enchanting crystal-beaded pumps or feather-covered boots will prove a perfect complement for her next style statement.

On April 23, 2026, Julianne Moore traveled to Miami for the first time in her life.
You’d think that Moore’s vocation—ruling the silver screen with acclaimed films like May December, The Big Lebowski, and Still Alice for over 40 years—would have brought her to The Magic City at some point. But no, the actress explained on a recent afternoon: “I worked in Jupiter, Florida, a long time ago,” she said, sitting on a white couch in the Miami EDITION Hotel, wearing an all-white jumpsuit. “I’ve worked in Hollywood, Florida. I’ve been to Palm Beach a million times, but I’ve only been to the Miami airport.”
The cause for the occasion was her involvement in the French jewelry brand Messika’s latest release. To celebrate the launch of Moderniste—a collection of geometric rings, bracelets, and earrings done in gold with modern diamond accents, for which Moore is the corresponding campaign face—she brought daughter Liv Freundlich down to Miami for a star-studded cocktail party with the Messika family. Founder and creative director Valérie Messika along with her husband, Jean-Baptiste Sassine who helms the company’s business development side were there to welcome more. (Their two children were in attendance, as well.) Helena Christensen, Candice Swanepoel, Gunna—who gamely posed for photos with crushes of adoring fans—and more stars came to the soirée, held at Chauteau ZZ’s restaurant in Brickell.

“I love the work she’s doing,” Moore said of Valérie, noting that the first time she wore a Messika piece was “oddly, actually, in the [2018] movie Gloria Bell.”
“I love the family aspect of the company,” she added. “I like that it’s small and it’s personal. Sometimes with big companies, you feel the corporation and you don’t feel the people. In this case, I was touched by how open the communication was, how deep the collaboration. I felt like it was coming from human beings.”
For her part, Valérie regards the latest collection as “a new chapter in my creative journey. Having Julianne Moore with us to embody this spirit makes this moment even more meaningful.” This likely won’t be the last time Moore makes a trip to Miami (especially since Messika has a real presence in the beach town, including a boutique in Aventura). Her plans for the next expedition? “I’d love to go to Little Havana,” she said.

For Larson, the key to a memorable gathering lies in the faces in attendance. “We could wax poetic about the importance of good produce, and even better lighting. But the truth is, the people sitting at your table are what make the party,” the Oscar winner told Vogue.

Who needs a little black dress when you have a little lace dress? The go-to party girl take on naked reigned supreme during last night’s Met Gala after-parties. A small arms of starlets — Alex Consani, Charli XCX, and Zoë Kravitz included — fanned out across Manhattan last night, each in their own distinct take on lacy dress.
After hitting the Met steps in a black lace Saint Laurent gown, host committee co-chair Zoë Kravitz doubled down on the texture for the brand’s after-party at People’s. Her black floral lace dress included a velvet skirt. A fluffy black hat, soft silk clutch, and cap-toed PVC pumps continued the texture mixing method to styling.

Alex Consani’s version looked like lace in design, but was actually made entirely of latex. Thin spaghetti straps and piped cups added to the Luis de Javier piece’s lingerie effect—as well as her simple black thong base layer. The star model kept the focus on her outfit with subtle black leather mules, plus a crystal-covered clutch for a dash of sparkle.

Like Kravitz, Tate McRae’s after-party dress channeled the same effect as her Met Gala gown. After walking the Met steps in a gold lace Ludovic de Saint Sernin number, McRae gleamed in a second see-through, metallic gold lace number from the brand. Her knee-length style featured a slip silhouette, with its shine taking center stage when accented by a small pendant necklace and PVC-strapped sandals. Black oval-shaped sunglasses gave the singer’s ensemble a nonchalant edge.

Always one for a fashion risk, Charli XCX wore a sheer black Saint Laurent dress made entirely of thin-cut lace to the label’s Met Gala after-party. Worn over high-waisted briefs, her style featured long sleeves and a thigh-high slit. Oversized sunglasses and glossy patent leather pumps sharply took the singer’s look from the boudoir to the red carpet.

Laura Harrier also took black lace for a spin at Saint Laurent’s after-party—though her style was slightly different. Nodding to classic lingerie slips, the actress’s thin lace dress featured a sleeveless, asymmetric silhouette with side cutouts and a plunging neckline. Harrier complemented the daring piece with strappy black sandals and gleaming diamond earrings.

Clearly, lace spans a range of transparencies, shapes, and colors, making it surprisingly versatile. As premieres fill up the summer and fall seasons, lace is sure to continue picking up steam, whether on or off the red carpet.
