Characters are the heart and soul of any story, pushing the plot further while establishing themselves as integral aspects. However, characters do more than just drive a story; they also connect with the audience, whether good or bad, to evoke feelings. This personal connection with fans creates some of the most beloved characters, and anime, in particular, has a great deal of essential characters.

The anime community as a whole cannot decide on the best anime, which is only natural since everyone has different tastes and preferences. However, one of the most popular anime series ever is One Piece, which still hasn't hit its peak at over a thousand episodes. The anime still has a bunch of time left with plenty of storytelling potential, but its expansive world, engaging characters, intriguing themes, creativity, and entertainment value have established it as an anime juggernaut.

Jon Favreau has worked on many projects since he started his career in 1988. While he's now known for his work in major franchises likeStar Wars and the MCU, with the most recent project being The Mandalorian and Grogu, he also worked on other projects, some of which also fit the science fiction genre. One of these early projects will be available to stream for free next month.
