Iran waives Hormuz transit fees during 60-day US truce window

DUBAI, June 19 β Iran's Strait βof Hormuz body βsaid on Friday it would waive βplanned fees to use βthe strait during a 60-day negotiation period under the memorandum βof understanding signed with the United States this week.
Ships seeking passage through βthe strait while β the interim agreement β is in β force must submit β transit β requests at least 48 hours before arrival, β Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) said in a notice.
Iran would waive fees for security, β safety, environmental services and related insurance during the period, β while requiring vessels to coordinate β routes β and transit times βin advance due βto areas βaffected by mines βand to βensure safe navigation. β Reuters
