Angelina Jolie captures the incredible story of Louis “Louie” Zamperini, a seemingly invincible Olympic distance runner, as his life takes an incredibly unexpected turn in the 2014 war drama Unbroken. The film, starring Jack O’Connell, captures the immensely gut-wrenching and agonizing tribulations Zamperini must face as he finds himself in the hull of a gunship and later a prisoner of war in Japanese territory.

When the topic of studio interference comes up, it sounds almost exclusively like something that happens now, in the present day, especially with large-budget films. "Creative differences" is usually the term that gets thrown around, and that's often the polite way to say the director wanted to make their own movie, rather than what the studio wanted them to make.

Prime Video recently returned to the world of one of its first hit television shows with Jack Ryan: Ghost War, which sees John Kraskinski reprising his role as the titular super spy.
