The funny thing about Storm of the Century is that most people remember the wrong parts. They remember Andre Linoge (Colm Feore) and the cane. They remember, "Give me what I want, and I'll go away." They even remember the snowstorm burying Little Tall Island under what looks like enough snow to shut down New England until Easter. Fair enough, since that's the stuff that winds up on the poster. What gets forgotten is that the miniseries spends most of its time watching ordinary people slowly talk themselves into disaster.
