We need to say something disloyal about Steve Carell, a man we would defend in almost any court. The Four Seasonsis better without him. At the end of Season 1, Nick (Carell) dies in a car accident just as he was starting his shiny new midlife crisis with Ginny (Erika Henningsen). On paper, this seemed like an insane decision by Tina Fey and company. You don't cast the most recognizable face in the TV comedy pantheon and then write him out after eight episodes.

Netflix has many bingeable shows, but it's officially renewed one of its best. Starring the likes of Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, and others, The Four Seasonstells a hilarious yet emotionally resonant story that touches on a variety of relatable themes, including the end of a marriage and the loss of a close friend. Given Season 2's recent release, Season 3's renewal isn't especially surprising, but it is welcome. Although fans will have to wait a while to see where the story goes next, Season 3 promises more chaotic fun from its beloved characters, and maybe even some new faces to create new drama.

HBO has released plenty of shows from various genres over the last few years, but few have become as popular as The White Lotus. The critically acclaimed HBO drama show didn’t even need a full season under its belt to accrue some big-time stars — Season 1 features performances from Sydney Sweeney, Alexandra Daddario, Murray Bartlett, and Steve Zahn. The White Lotus has become so popular that HBO has since released two new seasons of the show following the conclusion of Season 1, and a fourth is already confirmed to be on the way. Writer/director/producer Mike White has confirmed that he is shooting The White Lotus in France right now, and while an official release date has not been set, all signs point to it airing before the end of 2027.
