The port of Tenerife in Spain’s Canary Islands is preparing for passengers to disembark from the cruise ship at the center of the deadly hantavirus outbreak Sunday morning, Spanish officials said.

The cruise ship will arrive on the island of Tenerife, part of the Canary Islands of Spain, officials said. All of the passengers will then be evacuated to their home countries.

More than 100 people have fallen ill with norovirus on a cruise ship that left Florida last week and is set to return soon, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

Former passengers on the MV Hondius say that the ship was made for wildlife expeditions and that the crew took safety very seriously.

Since April 11, three passengers who were aboard the Hondius have died and five other people have been sickened after showing symptoms of the hantavirus. The Turkish YouTuber Ruhi Çenet disembarked the ship on April 24, and told The Times how staff members reacted to the first death.
