Lately, it seems Gwyneth Paltrow can’t get enough of see-through fashion. This year alone, the star’s hit red carpets in a gauzy pink tank top, transparent lace dress, and the viral layered pants that created a nude illusion beneath her Oscars dress. Now, Paltrow’s continued that trajectory on a trip to Italy, paired with a new sheer look from her arsenal.

Paltrow traveled to Florence this weekend for Belmond’s reopening of its luxe, newly renovated Villa San Michele hotel. For the occasion, she slipped on a sweeping white shift dress with a maxi-length hem. The slit piece was overlaid with a sheer top layer, cinchd by thin side ties for a flowing silhouette. Paltrow’s piece was complete with a trailing gold plant pattern with soft purple centers, bringing her look a shimmering finish.

Belmond, Virgile Guinar

Paltrow’s Midas touch didn’t stop there, however. A tubular gold necklace, oval hoop earrings, and layered bangle further emphasized her look’s gilded touches with an ornate glamour. Gleaming gold rings brought a shining finish to her accessory lineup.

Belmond, Virgile Guinar

Though her sheer attire’s elegance leaned towards the ethereal, Paltrow took the simple route when it came to footwear. The actress finished her outfit with a set of nude sandals, secured by minimalist straps atop thin platform soles and stiletto heels. The pair’s neutral color provided a clean base for her look, remaining formal while being almost invisible beneath her swirling dress—and allowing its golden accents and transparent textures to take center stage.

Belmond, Virgile Guinar

The moment notably marked one of Paltrow’s few outings this year outside of awards season. This winter, she made the rounds with the cast of Marty Supreme for her supporting role as struggling actress and socialite Kay, appearing everywhere from the Golden Globes to the Actor Awards. Between red carpets, she also returned to the front row in a vibrant green minidress for Valentino’s fall 2026 runway show during Milan Fashion Week. Her trip to Villa San Michele continued the actress’s luxe dressing streak, while proving that her penchant for sheer dressing—an arm of the trending mid-2020’s “naked dress” return—can evolve past adventurous red carpet attire.

This also isn’t Paltrow’s last fashionable moment this year. With more collections for her revamped GWYN clothing label coming up, plus the Manhattan opening of Goop Kitchen (complete with a clever campaign starring power publicist Kelly Cutrone) on the horizon, the star’s certainly keeping busy—and is sure to be out and about all the while.

Spring’s as good of a time as any to think pink—just ask A$AP Rocky. The rapper and style icon made a surprise appearance at Chanel’s cruise show yesterday, complete with a sweet nod to his and Rihanna’s infant daughter Rocki Irish. In the front row, the star clutched a supersized pink linen Chanel flap bag, accented with matching baby-sized satin Mary Janes—both personal gifts to Rocki Irish from creative director Matthieu Blazy, according to Page Six.

Rocky’s specific style brought a heartfelt, bold take to parenthood. After all, anyone with little ones is used to carting around a massive backpack, tote, or diaper bag filled with snacks, toys, and supplies for any child-related incident. His supersized Chanel flap bag, complete with tufted white, red, and black tweed trim and gold hardware, created a decidedly luxe take on the practical parental necessity.

Swan Gallet/WWD/Getty Images

Rocky’s whimsical bag added a burst of seasonal color to his Chanel attire during the show: a bright red button-down shirt with gleaming gold “CC” cutout buttons, tucked into pale burgundy crosshatched trousers and cinched with a leather belt. Glossy dark red derbies, plus a supple tan suede jacket with multicolored tweed trim—all from the same Chanel cruise collection that walked the runway—smoothly complemented his look.

Of course, Rocky’s always embraced a dynamic accessorizing opportunity. He finished his Chanel outfit with a swirling gold and silver ring, round gold stud earrings, and a matching watch—plus a swirling bejeweled sun brooch for good measure. Joining him in the front row were Chanel muses and ambassadors Michaela Coel, Nicole Kidman, Tilda Swinton, and Marion Cotillard.

A$AP Rocky’s appearance for Chanel’s cruise show marked his first runway outing since Fashion Month earlier this winter. The star, as well as his partner Rihanna, has been a front-row fixture for years—and both are beloved for their boundary-breaking, open-minded approach to style. In fact, the same ethos led to Rocky founding his own label, AWGE, which he showed in New York City in February. After stylish date nights and outings with their children Rocky, RZA, and Rocki Irish, it’s clear parenthood is another fashion-forward chapter the all-star couple is thoroughly embracing.

Thanks to her custom Chanel bag and darling flats, it seems Rocki Irish—at just 7 months old—is already building an impressive accessory collection. Plus, with her debut appearance on the cover of W’s Pop Issue, she’s got stylish credentials to match. Clearly, fashion runs in the family.

In Matthieu Blazy’s new class of Chanel ambassadors, nobody’s having more fun than Ayo Edebiri. This year, the actress has frequently worn the French house’s most experimental new designs—a streak that continued with an eclectic mix of pieces last night. On Tuesday, Edebiri appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers in Blazy’s viral collaboration with luxury French shirtmaker Charvet—complete with a special, unexpected reference.

While stepping onstage, Edebiri wore sheer black tights beneath an oversized white collared shirt, which was first seen on Chanel’s spring 2026 runway. But this wasn’t your average button-down, with small pearls placed on its cuff and collars, an embroidered “Chanel” patch, and woven chain hem lining for a smooth silhouette. However, the secretly intricate piece wasn’t only a chic shirt—it also referenced the late Broadway diva Elaine Stritch, who often wore oversized button-downs and with just tights for her signature “no pants” look.

Appropriate, considering Edebiri was promoting her starring role in Proof, which marks her own Broadway debut.

NBC/NBCUniversal/Getty Images

Stritch’s dynamic style, frequently worn during her onstage comedy sets over the decades, would become a staple for the actress in her later years. That pairing was seen as a display of her free-spirited nature, pluck, and independence “She appreciated her own long legs and she decided to show them off and you don’t realize how far ahead of the time she was,” Liz Smith told The Cut of Stritch in 2019. “Now it means nothing. But she shocked everybody. And she really made it work.”

John W. Ferguson/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

Edebiri’s Stritch-esque attire channeled her same humor and wit, bringing a new silhouette to shirtdresses in the process. Aside from the Bottoms star, Nicole Kidman has also worn the Chanel and Charvet shirt, which she paired with jeans for Blazy’s debut show. Edebiri’s take showed a familiar way to approach the piece with a nod to the legendary Stritch, who became beloved for her turns on television and Broadway.

NBC/NBCUniversal/Getty Images

But the flair didn’t end there. Edebiri’s shirt earned a dramatic edge from a shaggy, bright red faux fur jacket, which she wore shrugged off her shoulders. Hailing from Chanel’s subway-set Metiers d’Art collection, the style added a vibrant burst of Big Apple-worthy color to the actress’s attire, ensuring it was both eclectic and bold—in fact, as far from basic as a white button-down could be. Stritch would have surely approved.

For a formal touch, stylist Danielle Goldberg finished Edebiri’s look with a set of glossy black patent leather pumps. Complete with its signature pointed toes and stilettos, the shoe continued its ongoing rise in 2026—having been embraced by Zendaya, Teyana Taylor, Anne Hathaway, and more stars on and off the red carpet this spring. Like the shirt and tights, heels were a frequent finishing touch for Stritch as well, completing Edebiri’s reverent reference to the star.

The moment marked Edebiri’s latest outing in Chanel, having worn styles from matching leather to multicolored feathers in 2026. After Blazy’s beachy cruise show this week, there’s even more dynamic options for her to try—and, perhaps, channel more icons in the future. Here’s hoping his supersized beach tote or sole-less sandals make the cut.

Nobody’s been pulling out the fashion stops this season quite like Anne Hathaway. The actress has been on a whirlwind international press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2, complete with overlapping promotion for her pop star-centric thriller Mother Mary. While in London this week, she continued pulling double duty with an impressive aesthetic swap across two very different outfits—all in under 24 hours.

This morning, Hathaway’s Devil Wears Prada 2 tour continued with an appearance at the Victoria and Albert Museum in a tailored black velvet Giorgio Armani Privé coat dress. Her floor-length style featured exaggerated shoulders for a dynamic edge, while allover pearl embroidery brought a sprinkling of glamour. Stylist Erin Walsh finished Hathaway’s look with small diamond-covered hoop earrings and glossy cat-eye sunglasses. Meanwhile, a dark red manicure subtly nodded to The Devil Wears Prada’s signature red, black, and white color scheme, which Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Emily Blunt have all referenced across their various red carpet looks for the film in recent weeks.

Dave Benett/Dave Benett Collection/Getty Images

However, Hathaway took an entirely different approach the night before. During a special screening of Mother Mary, the actress leaned into the movie’s ghostly themes with a dramatic gown from Iris Van Herpen’s spring 2020 couture collection. The sweeping black silk piece featured a matte skirt and flared sleeves, which flowed upwards into a series of thin, intricate cutouts. A high collar, rounded chest cutout, and cold-shoulder openings brought a sultry finish to her style, which was grounded with black cutout Aquazzura boots.

John Phillips/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

At their core, Hathaway’s two looks showed her prowess as a fashion chameleon. After all, it takes a special kind of star to pull off two themed aesthetics at once. Each look also showed a keen approach to styling pieces with an all-black palette, emphasizing texture and shape in the absence of color. Though the shade’s been at play in Hathaway’s wardrobe for each project, this back-to-back moment proved her ease in style adaptation across opposing ensembles.

Though they’ll move at a slower pace, Hathaway’s fashionable forays are far from over after The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Mother Mary’s press cycles wrap. This summer, she’ll be back onscreen in the mythological epic The Odyssey and sci-fi thriller The End of Oak Street. Come fall, she’ll wrap the year taking on the titular role in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Verity. Clearly, Hathaway’s no stranger to versatility across different genres in the acting world. However, it’s abundantly clear she just be the ultimate fashion multitasker.

Today, Dakota Johnson and Alessandro Michele have proven one of fashion’s most loyal designer and muse pairings. Since taking the helm at Valentino, he’s dressed the actress in everything from lace hot pants to retro cutouts—a surprisingly maximalist streak for the typically minimalist Johnson, but one she’s wholeheartedly embraced. At last night’s Time100 Gala, her latest look by the Italian label was surprisingly statuesque while still making a statement.

Johnson floated onto the carpet at Jazz at Lincoln Center for the occasion in a sweeping white gown, complete with a smoothly draped bodice and thin spaghetti straps. The stark style packed a dramatic punch from its matching cape, which was clasped beneath glittering sequined feathers. Together, both pieces created an angelic effect, with added sparkle from Roberto Coin’s elegant diamond drop earrings, rings, and a diamond-covered bracelet.

Kristina Bumphrey/WWD/Getty Images

Johnson’s attire wasn’t without a surprise, however. Stylist Kate Young paired the actress’s heavenly dress with gothically black leather mules, enhanced with a glamorous twist. The dark, pointed-toe style was topped by crystal-coated snakes, a signature Michele motif across his current Valentino era and his days at Gucci. Johnson’s always rife for a clever contrast on the red carpet, and this latest outing was no exception.

Kristina Bumphrey/WWD/Getty Images

Capes have been subtly trending this year across runways and red carpets, as well—in fact, Johnson’s fellow Time100 honorees Hilary Duff and Kate Hudson also wore the shape at the same event. Furthermore, it’s a favored silhouette of Michele’s, whose swirling iterations have encompassed feline beadwork, colorful sequins, rich velvets, and more ornate details over the years.

During Michele’s previous tenure at Gucci, Johnson became a loyal brand ambassador who frequently wore his intricate designs across red carpets and campaigns. It seems they were destined to come back together. Since Michele took the helm at Valentino, Johnson’s quickly become a brand ambassador and campaign star for the house. Now, after stepping out in some of its most dynamic ensembles, she’s affirmed that aesthetics might transform over time—but friendship is always in style.

In fashion, the ‘90s are a constant source of inspiration—but in 2026, nostalgia for the decade has soared to new heights. Some stars want to channel the era’s signature minimalism with current collection, others prefer wearing archival pieces or full runway look recreations instead. Hailey Bieber chose the latter route when attending this year’s Time100 Gala, embracing the decade’s sexier side with an unexpected reference.

Bieber arrived to Jazz at Lincoln Center for the event in a shimmering Calvin Klein Collection gown, which featured a floor-length skirt and spaghetti-strapped bodice with a structured inner bra. The piece was actually a recreation of a spring 1992 Calvin Klein dress, crafted in silver and lilac floral lace that proved both formal and romantically feminine. The decade’s clean minimalism was also seen in the Rhode founder’s accessories, including matching silk pumps, glinting diamond earrings, and a thin silver bracelet watch.

Taylor Hill/WireImage/Getty Images

Aside from its nostalgia, Bieber’s blossoming dress also referenced a top ‘90s fashion figure: Calvin Klein’s wife, Kelly Klein. Klein was a longtime muse to her designer husband, and actually wore the original dress that inspired Bieber’s look to the 1992 CFDA Awards shortly after its runway debut. Like Bieber, Klein kept her accessories to a minimum to further highlight the dress’s metallic sheen and intricate detailing at the time. Over 30 years later, it appears great minds think alike.

While everyone else has put Carolyn Bessette Kennedy on their mood board in the wake of America Love Story, Bieber has artfully swerved by directly channeling Kelly instead. Klein, played by Leila George in the series, was Kennedy’s friend and championed a similar sort of minimalist style. Though, unlike Kennedy, she had a particular fondness for a metallic moment.

Taylor Hill/WireImage/Getty Images

As for Bieber, her Calvin Klein Collection dress continued her love affair with archival fashion. The star’s amassed a penchant for wearing vintage runway pieces and throwback styles in recent years, from her John Galliano-designed Dior slip dress at Coachella to Tom Ford-era Gucci, 2000’s Versace, and a ladylike Chanel evening bag. Her outing in Klein’s recreated dress continued that vigor, proving again that standout style isn’t limited to just one decade. Indeed, everything old is new again.

The boss is in! While celebrating her brand’s new Gap collaboration, Victoria Beckham took her love of suiting to New York City. Though her office-ready pieces were certainly sharp, Beckham’s sensibility was anything corporate.

Beckham’s look for the occasion included an oversized dark gray blazer, worn over her go-to white T-shirt. A pair of wide-legged trousers brought her look a relaxed, yet streamlined complement, cinched with a thin brown leather belt. A gleaming watch on a gray ridged band, brown pointed heels, and large squared black sunglasses finished her look with a simple, yet sharp mix of classic neutrals.

Hippolyte Petit for Gap x Victoria Beckham

Beckham’s relaxed take on suiting was exactly on par with her previous tailoring looks. The star’s regularly worn matching pieces in a similarly nonchalant fashion, always with a T-shirt—which she’s frequently paired with her de-facto denim on and off-duty, as well. From its oversized silhouette and timeless shades, Beckham’s outfit was a modern upgrade to classic suits with the same easygoing touch she’s given her own collections and collaborations over the years.

The star’s launch party at West Village hotspot People’s was also a true family affair. David made a sharp complement to Beckham in a dark navy jacket and trousers, complete with white slip-ons. Meanwhile, their children Romeo and Harper were also present, wearing Gap denim and athleisure to create an especially coordinated night out.

Beckham’s event for her Gap collection continued a particularly busy week for the star. Since her Gap line’s announcement, she’s appeared on numerous morning shows and sat down for an onstage Time100 discussion—which also followed her inclusion in Time’s annual list of the world’s most influential figures. After this latest outing, Beckham proved no schedule is too chaotic if you’ve got a chic sartorial moment—and family—in your corner.

Throughout The Devil Wears Prada 2’s sweeping press tour, Simone Ashley has been having fun with fashion. The actress’s looks have ranged from elegant pops of color to high-fashion gorp-core, spanning brands both independent and established. Her latest ensemble, archival Versace from the spring 2016 collection, added a dash of wild glamour to her repertoire.

For the sequel’s London premiere reception at the National Gallery, Ashley made a wild statement in a sheer olive green slip dress covered in swirling tiger stripes. The jungle-ready piece was overlaid with glittering green-gold, black, and lime sequins mimicking peacock feathers, creating bursts of texture with a glamorous flair. Tufts of dark feathers added to the style’s dramatic feel, while gleaming diamonds and black satin sandals classically finished her attire.

Tristan Fewings/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

Ashley’s throwback Versace dress showed another side to statement dressing for the occasion. Meryl Streep wore a sparkling dark purple cape on the red carpet, while Emily Blunt’s sheer Dior minidress and Anne Hathaway’s striped gown delivered geometric drama. With the cast’s international premiere looks referencing the film’s cult-loved moments, Ashley’s latest seemed to nod to the animal patterns frequently seen in Miranda Priestly’s (Streep) wardrobe from the original movie—a hint at her character Amari’s dedication to both Priestly and Runway.

Her outfit also wholeheartedly embodied the cosmopolitan “urban jungle” inspirations of Versace’s spring 2016 collection. That same phrase was also the theme of a Central Park photo shoot from the original Devil Wears Prada, a coincidence eagle-eyed fans will be quick to recall.

Ashley’s statement minidress wasn’t her only bold vintage ensemble during this round of The Devil Wears Prada 2 press, however. Earlier that day, the actress popped in an archival one-shouldered dress from Thierry Mugler’s 1984 resort collection during the film’s London premiere. Her bright pink style featured a one-shouldered bodice with a belted waistline and flared hips, which she boosted with matching pumps.

Tristan Fewings/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images

Throughout her The Devil Wears Prada 2 looks, Ashley’s taken the opportunity to play with fashion across different aesthetics and sensibilities. At the movie’s New York City premiere, she shone in a custom chartreuse Prada dress with rare green Garatti diamonds. Other outings have seen her wering surrealist LOVEBIRDS, vibrant Fidan Novruzova, and a motorsport fall 2003 Balenciaga set by Nicholas Ghesquière. Despite their variety, all of these looks show an open-minded, diehard love of fashion as art—a value we’re sure to see from Amari onscreen once the film debuts on May 1.

Ashley’s throwback Versace dress was the latest feather—literally—in her sartorial cap. Having proven her adaptability, the actress’ fashion prowess is clearly one to watch.

While making the rounds for her new film Apex in New York City, Charlize Theron didn’t just wear one look yesterday. She wore five. At the action movie’s premiere, the actress was sharply suited in a black Dior blazer and pants from Jonathan Anderson’s fall 2026 collection. In place of a blouse, Theron simply wore a pleated white Elizabethan collar tied by a long ribbon, giving the set a romantic and rebellious edge.

Pointed black heels added a sharp finish to Theron’s sartorial pairing. Gleaming diamond cuff earrings subtly enhanced her look’s modern and punky touches, including a tousled bob and warm red lipstick.

Earlier in the day, stylist Leslie Fremar took Theron back to all-black—a longtime staple in the star’s wardrobe—with two leather pants-based outfits. For an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the star wore a bow-tied blazer, wide-leg trousers, and knotted sandals layered over a sheer bra from Givenchy by Sarah Burton. Beforehand, she chicly nodded to biker dressing from a pair of buckled, high-waisted leather Balmain pants with quilted knee panels. Her edgy bottoms were complemented by a button-down shirt, dark red sunglasses, and slick cutout velvet pumps.

For another outfit, Theron took a light approach in an all-white Bottega Veneta. Her Louise Trotter-designed attire included a gauzy sweater and asymmetric miniskirt with a layered and frayed hem, complemented by matching flat loafers. A sharp black mac coat and dark brown Intrecciato woven shoulder bag cleanly framed the monochrome mix, while proving practical for social media appearances on the subway.

In the morning, Theron first braved New York’s cloudy weather in a blue-gray halter top and ruffle-trimmed skirt from Pieter Mullier’s last Alaïa collection. The ribbed pair was dynamically elevated by sheer gray pumps, while glistening Anita Ko diamond earrings and Jessica McCormack rings provided a polished sparkle.

Throughout her fashion-filled day, Theron delivered a masterclass in bringing variety to single-toned ensembles. An assortment of dark shades and nods to current trends—from transparency to prep, punk, and “undone” layering—also continued her experimental, yet elegant streak when getting dressed. With their range of textures, silhouettes, and a hint of rebellion, Theron’s looks also proved her fashion prowess and dedication—after all, five outfit changes in one day is no easy feat.

Overall, the star’s ensembles displayed how thoughtful details can instantly bring intrigue to even the most minimalist color palettes. Indeed, her monochrome outfits were anything but monotonous.

During the Devil Wears Prada 2’s whirlwind press tour, Anne Hathaway’s continued to cement her status as a fashion chameleon. However, one label’s been surprisingly amiss from her rotation—that is, until now. As a longtime Versace muse, it would only make sense for Hathaway to incorporate the Italian brand into her rotation—and at the film’s final premiere in London, she finally did. Perhaps she was waiting until she got to wear Versace standing next to an actual Versace.

On the red carpet, Hathaway wore sweeping Versace gown that riffed on classic suiting with its details. Her strapless style featured a deep purple velvet skirt, accentuated by a slit and a sheer corseted bodice. A black silk collar, crystal buttons, and a dark crystal-coated neckline winked at formal menswear with a sultry twist. To enhance its detailing, stylist Erin Walsh only accessorized the star with diamond-covered hoop earrings and simple black leather sandals.

Dave Benett/Dave Benett Collection/Getty Images

In an especially sweet moment, Hathaway reunited with none other than Donatella Versace at the event. Versace (who makes a cameo in the film alongside leading fashion figures like Marc Jacobs, Brunello Cucinelli, Law Roach, and more) has often dressed Hathaway through the years. The star’s ties to the label reached a peak in the mid-2020’s. Between 2023 and 2024, Hathaway appeared at the brand’s runway shows, starred in its Versace Icons campaigns, and wore a pin-cinched gown to the 2024 Met Gala honoring Karl Lagerfeld. There was also that viral clip of her dancing at a Versace afterparty.

Ian West - PA Images/PA Images/Getty Images

That Versace era marked a sleek shift in Hathaway’s style, which has since become more experimental and dynamic. With her recent bold turns promoting The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Mother Mary, it seemed only fitting that Versace would play a part in the star’s ensembles—and indeed, it made for a fittingly fashionable finale.

Ian West - PA Images/PA Images/Getty Images

In recent weeks, Hathaway’s Devil Wears Prada 2 looks have spanned everything from colorful sequins to elegant ruffles, high-shine metallics, and thematic ruby reds. Ahead of the film’s May 1 release, she’s continued to flex her fashion finesse with eye-catching attire that’s both referential and excitement-inducing. That streak’s only set to continue this year with her upcoming roles in star-studded films The Odyssey, The End of Oak Street, and Verity—and you can bet the fashion world will be watching every step of the way.

It’s been awhile since we were privy to a look inside Kylie Jenner’s closet—that is, until now. On Instagram, the Kylie Beauty founder showed a new glimpse at her expansive Hermès handbag collection, which has made headlines since its first appearances on social media in the mid-2010’s.

This week, Jenner shared a new series of photos while posing at home in a black bra, low-rise pants, and stiletto-heeled Christian Louboutin boots. Her Instagram dump’s mirror selfies spotlit her extensive wall of Hermès bags, filled with Birkins and Kellys in a vast range of shapes, sizes, and colors. Naturally, Jenner kept her assortment color-coded in various sections, from black to pinks, whites, and an array of vibrant tones.

Jenner’s well-documented assortment included a selection of especially rare bags. One core standout was a set of degradè Hermès Himalaya alligator bags, including a Birkin, Kelly, and Kelly clutch—which can retail from $150,000 to $450,000 each. The brand’s woven straw Picnic Mini Kelly, a recent star shape that’s regularly sold out, also popped within the range from its orange leather trim. A subtle standout was additionally found in the Hermès Neige Faubourg Birkin, a small white alligator style with window accents inspired by the brand’s Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré boutique, which typically resales for over $700,000.

Though Jenner’s Hermès collection is certainly expansive, she isn’t the only star in her family with a love for the French brand’s handbags. Matriarch Kris Jenner’s also famed for her vast Birkin collection, which similarly includes a Himalaya Birkin. Jenner’s sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian have also carried a range of colorful and neutral Hermès styles over the years. Another side to the brand can be seen in subtle versions carried by Kendall Jenner, whose lineup includes a brown suede Birkin and vintage red leather Kelly.

Jenner’s Hermès bag collection has frequently been one to watch since its initial debut in her former mirrored walk-in closet. However, with a new spotlight on social media, this reformatted range shows a darker, streamlined approach to the star’s wardrobe. Alongside recent formal appearances at this year’s Oscars and Golden Globes, plus casual moments at Coachella, it’s clear we’re in a new King Kylie era—and her reign is only growing.

Between them, Margot Robbie and Zoe Saldaña have conquered the box office. One’s a Marvel hero and an Avatar, and the other is a DC bad girl and Barbie herself. You’d think it would be some Hollywood super-producer with a bottomless checkbook that brought them together for a blockbuster—but the pair actually crossed paths last night during Design Week in Milan, of all places. Attending RH Milan’s launch event for its soaring Gallery on Corso Venezia flagship, the pair took too contrasting paths to dressing.

Saldaña stepped out in a long-sleeved marigold dress by Saint Laurent for the occasion. Swirling gold foiled lace brought a touch of ornate glamour to the piece. Little black pointed-toe pumps and black nylons added on a style exclamation point.

Meanwhile, Robbie leaned into Italy’s tailoring roots with a deep gray Armani suit. Her set included an oversized blazer and wide-legged trousers layered over a light gray turtleneck shirt and charcoal sweater vest. The neutral pieces were punctuated by a deep red leather belt and woven burgundy loafers, with an eclectic edge from a crab-shaped brooch.

While Saldaña’s attire veered the decoratively feminine route, Robbie’s nodded to the city’s rich suiting industry and menswear culture. Both looks were fitting for the occasion during Design Week, which celebrates the latest lifestyle, home, and interior design collection and advancements from numerous brands.

Robbie and Saldaña’s Milan moment also marks the latest appearance by both stars, notably following Robbie’s romance-inspired press tour for Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights. Hopefully it’s only the beginning of their red carpet rounds this summer.
