Westerns have long been a tradition in entertainment, but becoming a classic still remains elusive. The genre may be having a new heyday, but no current entry into the world of Westerns can live up to No Country for Old Men. Adapted from the book of the same name by master of the bleak Western, Cormac McCarthy, this sun-soaked thriller is one of the Coen Brothers’ best.

Mechanic: Resurrection is the penultimate example of the iconic roles Jason Statham has built the entirety of his career on. As always, he portrays a morally grey lead — this time, though, recently scorned by a former enemy, who is out for blood at any cost. Lionsgate’s classic assassin flick is dominating the streaming charts a decade later, proving yet again that Statham is perhaps the only actor who can play the exact same role and not only get away with it but also continually dominate.
