Boots Riley Says โNopeโ To โIโm a Virgoโ Season 2, Jokes: โI Think We Watch TV Too Muchโ
Louisa Levyโs Off Campus is once again the top show on Prime Video this week, earning continued interest from audiences with its take on Elle Kennedyโs book series. Starring Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli in the lead roles, the "fake romanceโ drama series has earned acclaim and high viewership ever since it premiered in May. But in case thatโs not quite what youโre in the mood for this week, or if youโve already seen the showโs eight-episode first season, thereโs still a lot more to explore on the platform. Hereโs a look at three great shows that we think you should binge on Prime Video this week.

June is going to be a terrific month for fans of classic Hollywood movies, with landmark titles such as the Southern Gothic noir thriller The Night of the Hunter, Stanley Kubrick's anti-war masterpiece Paths of Glory, and the single greatest legal drama ever made being released on Prime Video. The legal drama was released nearly seven decades ago to universal acclaim, but had an underwhelming response at the box office. The movie earned three nominations in key Oscar categories โ Best Director, Best Picture, and Best Screenplay โ and is now regarded as one of the best films ever made. The movie was adapted by Reginald Rose from his own 1954 teleplay, which has since inspired at least one Bollywood film, a Chinese drama, a television movie, and an episode of Family Guy.

Marvel fans have a lot to look forward to later this year, particularly the return of Robert Downey Jr. to the MCU in Avengers: Doomsday. After occupying the role of Iron Man in the MCU for over 10 years, Downey Jr. will shift to the villain side of the aisle to play Doctor Doom in the film โ there could be Tony Stark crumbs coming, though, considering the multiversal implications. Marvel viewers were treated to a street-level project to start the year with the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, which led directly into the Jon Bernthal-led Punisher special, One Last Kill. Bernthal will also reprise his role as Frank Castle in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth solo MCU Spider-Man film coming to theaters on July 31. The movie co-stars Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo.

You can rely on Jack Reacher for a lot of things. You got a wrong that needs righting? He's probably your man. He'll put his massive boots on, grab his tiny little phone, and make things happen. That's why Reacher has been such a reliable hit for Prime Video since the very start, because it felt like we were watching the books come to life. Reacher, all stoic and silent, saying nothing but letting his fists do the talking. Absence, however, is not making the heart grow fonder as the series is struggling to keep up momentum ahead of Season 4.

Despite a largely negative critical response, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan: Ghost War is once again the number one movie on Prime Video this week. A highly anticipated film sequel to the Jack Ryan series, the movie sees John Krasinski return to his role as the titular CIA operative, and the film follows Jack Ryan as he comes out of retirement to help deal with an international plot. Krasinski also co-wrote the film with Aaron Rabin, with Andrew Bernstein directing, and the movie has proven quite popular with streaming audiences. But in case thatโs not quite what youโre in the mood for, there are still plenty more options to choose from on the platform. So, without further ado, hereโs a look at three great movies that we think you should watch on Prime Video this week.

Romance adaptations are having a moment. If you've been paying attention to the genre's status on TV, it's been on a roll for years, with shows like Bridgerton and The Summer I Turned Pretty rapidly evolving into pop-cultural phenomena. These adaptations are appealing to book fans who already love the source material and the general audience who wants to be swept up by a love story. People are yearning to yearn, and these series deliver. In particular, Prime Video has become a hub where these romance adaptations flourish. From international hits like Maxton HallโThe World Between Us to underrated gems like My Lady Jane, the streamer is quietly bringing back the types of series that used to thrive on The CW. Last month, Off Campus took the world by storm, and now, Every Year After is joining the ranks. While many might try to make comparisons to The Summer I Turned Pretty, Every Year After distinguishes itself as two coming-of-age stories centered on first love and second chances.

Prime Video's ongoing fantasy series has become a streaming hit. The Amazon-owned streaming platform has been making headlines lately, with shows like Spider-Noirand Off Campus catching audiences' attention. But, this week, the streaming platform released the latest installment of its adult fantasy adventure.
