Borden Deal (1922โ€“1985) was a well-known American novelist who wrote the explicit, high-selling softcore series under the pseudonym "Anonymous".

The identity of the author was kept secret from the publisher, Bantam Books, until Deal died in January 1985, at which point he revealed his authorship in his own obituary.

South Korean police are seeking to arrest Bang Si-Hyuk, the chair of the agency behind the K-pop band BTS, as they expand an investigation into allegations that he illegally gained more than $100m (ยฃ74m) in an investor fraud scheme.

The Seoul metropolitan police agency confirmed it had asked prosecutors to request a court warrant for the arrest of Bang, the founder and chair of HYBE.

The Pet Shop Boys: 40 years of hits, activism and risky decisions

In 1986, the first album by a British duo called Pet Shop Boys was released. The title, Please, was an inside joke: the two musicians liked the idea that, in order to buy it, fans would have to say the albumโ€™s name and sound extremely polite while doing so. โ€œDo you have the new Pet Shop Boys album, Please?โ€ Very English. Very ironic. Forty years later, record shops have practically vanished, but the duo is still going strong โ€” more active than ever and now the most successful duo in British history, and among the most successful in the world. And theyโ€™ve never lost that dry sense of humour.
