The aforementioned shows are hailed as some of the best HBO has ever produced, but they also attracted criticism with seasons varying in quality or an ending that was unsatisfactory. Still, the network has managed to release shows that have maintained their quality throughout, and one of them is a 2018 drama series that played all its cards right.
