Exit polls favouring UDF leave the Opposition feeling bullish. LDF feels voters will stay the course as in the past Assembly elections, preferring “stability over volatility”. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is hoping to shrink the UDF and LDF’s margins by positioning itself as a Central government-backed development alternative to the traditional fronts in Kerala.
