The Pentagon on Friday released an initial group of previously secret files documenting reports of UFOs โ€“ a move sought for decades by some.

โ€œThese files, hidden behind classifications, have long fueled justified speculation โ€“ and itโ€™s time the American people see it for themselves,โ€ Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary, said in a statement posted on X.

About six in 10 respondents to the Associated Press-NORC poll, conducted last month, say the country used to be a great place for immigrants, but no longer is.
