    ianbartlett posted a photo: Today the weather was good and so Amber and I set off from Southease following the South Downs Way to the A27 and then over and turned of the SDW to Ashcombe Bottom and finished up down on a footpath going through Southover ending up back on the river and down to the car. There was a bit of a wind but in sheltered spots the wildlife was abundant and the Hare was a real surprise. The walk was really great covering just over 20 miles in about 8 hours climbing up ont

Today the weather was good and so Amber and I set off from Southease following the South Downs Way to the A27 and then over and turned of the SDW to Ashcombe Bottom and finished up down on a footpath going through Southover ending up back on the river and down to the car. There was a bit of a wind but in sheltered spots the wildlife was abundant and the Hare was a real surprise. The walk was really great covering just over 20 miles in about 8 hours climbing up onto the downs three times in all so 23 images for today although there could have been many more.

The immigrant couple said they took their friend at her word, and lost their life savings.

Carlien and Carel Mienie, who work on a dairy farm near Taupō, lost their "life savings" after being duped into handing over nearly $165,000 to a longstanding friend who approached them with a "business opportunity". Petronella Laatz has now been sentenced on a charge of obtaining by deception, over what the judge described as "callous" offending.
