Blue and white Delft tile measuring 13 x 13 x 1.0 cm and depicting a house. Probably dates to the eighteenth century (based on the 'spider' corner motif, the beige-colored fabric and the tile thickness) and was probably made in the Netherlands.

De Morgan & Co.'s Merton Abbey period mark 1882 - 1888. The design is very similar to William De Morgan's various 'Persian flowering foliage' designs (right as viewed) original drawings of which are held in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum. A pair of 6 inch tiles with turquoise, dark blue, brown/purple, green and black islamic-inspired decoration. They bear W. De Morgan & Co.'s Merton Abbey period mark 1882 - 1888. The design is very similar to William De Morgan's various 'Persian flowering foliage' designs (right as viewed) original drawings of which are held in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Note some of the photos are not mine....the De Morgan design drawings are from the Victoria and Albert Museum website.
