With Marvel Studios moving forward on its X-Men reboot under director Jake Schreier, speculation surrounding the cast has reached a fever pitch. Fans have spent months debating which actors should join the iconic mutant team, while online rumors and alleged "insider reports" continue to circulate across social media. Given the X-Men's status as one of Marvel's most popular and enduring franchises, that level of interest is hardly surprising. However, according to Schreier, audiences may want to approach many of those reports with skepticism, as not everything being shared online should be taken at face value.

Marvel may have some of the most popular characters in comic book history, but where the brand has really shone is with its teams. One of the first that comes to mind is Marvel’s First Family, aka The Fantastic Four, who have headlined several feature films and hundreds of comics over the years. That also means more mutants will get their time in the sunshine, with some returning via liva action, some via animation, and some could bounce between both. But one of the most intriguing characters is Magik, one of the fan favorites from the comics who, somehow, has only had one major live-action appearance to date, but now, Marvel has shown off its new iteration of the character.
