This is the same sunset, taken at the same location, just minutes apart. Obviously, the sun has already gone down here. I was tempted to stay a bit longer, to see if it actually got more dramatic, but I had a feeling it wouldn't. If it had, I would have other chances to pull over and capture it.

I just love this location for sunsets. This is Lake Onalaska, located in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Those are islands situated just a little ways out. As I've mentioned numbers of times before, if it weren't for the many islands in the area, all this water would just be the Mississippi River! ha! Take a look at the map if you're a little more curious! It's kind of interesting.
