The tower is located at the highest point of the cliffs. The vertical face displays clear strata of dark shale and lighter sandstone, with the oldest rocks at the bottom. The site is near Liscannor in County Clare, Ireland.

Haniya Spring is a beautiful area combining a spring, an ancient pool full of water, an archaeological site and a cultural landscape of traditional agriculture.
Two pools from the Byzantine period and a nymphaeon (fountain) from the Roman period. The water system feeds the pools as it did in bygone days.
Haniya Spring is a sacred place and a pilgrimage site for members of the Armenian and the Ethiopian churches. The area around the pool and the nymphaeon is the property of the Armenian Church.
