A distant view of O'Brien's Tower observatory at the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland. The 19th-century observation tower was built in 1835 by local landowner and Member of Parliament, Sir Cornelius O’Brien. The tower is located at the highest point of the cliffs. The vertical face displays clear strata of dark shale and lighter sandstone, with the oldest rocks at the bottom. The site is near Liscannor in County Clare, Ireland.

Haniya Spring is a beautiful area combining a spring, an ancient pool full of water, an archaeological site and a cultural landscape of traditional agriculture.
Two pools from the Byzantine period and a nymphaeon (fountain) from the Roman period. The water system feeds the pools as it did in bygone days.
Haniya Spring is a sacred place and a pilgrimage site for members of the Armenian and the Ethiopian churches. The area around the pool and the nymphaeon is the property of the Armenian Church.

At the end of 2023, the Koprivnica - Križevci railway line was closed for a week for maintenance and construction of a new track. During this closure of the railway line, we had the opportunity to see detour freight trains with diesel traction via Klošter, Bjelovar towards Zagreb.
The photo shows a HŽ Cargo train with sheet metal waiting for its way to Rijeka Brajdica.

Created by sculptor Andrew O’Connor, Jr. and dedicated on September 6, 1924, the equestrian statue honors the Marquis de Lafayette’s role in the American Revolution and commemorates his 1824-1825 farewell tour of America, during which he visited Baltimore. Behind Lafayette is the 178-foot-tall marble Doric column with George Washington on top. Designed by architect Robert Mills and completed in 1829, it is the first major monument built to honor President George Washington. To the right is the Gothic-style United Methodist Church built between 1870 and 1872.
