The series centers around the young Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who finally gains his superpowers after his 17th birthday and desires to follow in his superhero father's footsteps — only to discover that his father isn’t as heroic as he once believed. While its story and adult animated action are both unapologetically brutal and brilliant, there are quite a few epic animated sagas that have the superhero icon beat.
