Not gonna lie, almost didn't upload this because I am still entirely certain nobody wants to spend 3 hours watching a guy whine and stumble through a game he sucks at. I had a minor bit of existentialism last night after this, wondering if maybe video games aren't actually for me. Wanna know what it is? I'm too used to having something to tell me where to go. I missed doors multiple times because it's a black square in a dark space, a bit of yellow paint would've done wonders for me. Or maybe a little button to ping where I should go next or something. Would it make sense for Alan, a generally normal to maybe slightly above average human? Nah. It'd work for the game though.
Ya know what the most ironic thing is? I still plan to continue. I am gonna power through, hope for the best, and just have a strategy guide open in another tab just in case.

And so the sequel begins only as I complete recording the 3rd chapter for the let's play. I gotta either really get going on the first game, or be ready to do extra explaining during this one. Either way, this one's a bit more survival horror than I expected, but honestly that's a good evolution for the series. I won't deny that I may or may not be turning difficulty down at some point, but normal mode is where I plan to be for a while. So we got a new character in Saga Anderson, she may be psychic with her mind place stuff, that's not really explained. And hey look, we found Alan again after 13 years. Damn... guy has a lot of catching up to do.

Alright, with my lack of directional awareness overcome, it's time to actually try and beat the game properly. Heck, didn't need weird modifiers this time even, either I'm learning or I was just in a weird place last week. This part tells the story of Alan's escape/survival in the Dark Place, outside of the bonus missions in game 1. Then, we need to find the clicker, in Saga's apparent old trailer that everyone but her seems to remember her living in, and see how she finally realizes where the story is taking her. That's right, the story itself is sentient. I'll let you decide how the writing of said story is.
