Records show Ford's penchant for private travel took off immediately after winning the 2025 provincial election campaign, during which his party chartered planes to Washington D.C.

The provincial party is holding its third leadership race in seven years after two successive leaders failed to gain a seat at Queen's Park, leading to their resignations. 

The disagreement took place during a Progressive Conservative caucus meeting, which typically takes place on Tuesdays at Queen's Park.
