An Edmonton man says he was forced to take a taxi to hospital while bleeding heavily after surgery, raising concerns about ambulance shortages.

RCMP said the ambulance, driving quickly with its lights and sirens activated, and the tractor were both headed west on Highway 9 when they collided in Rocky View County.
