A used semi-postal postage stamp from the Netherlands, issued in 1962 as part of the "Kinderpostzegels" (Child Welfare) series. This series was unique for featuring actual drawings made by children.
The 8c+6c stamp depicts a colorful drawing of a girl with the word "zondag" (Sunday) integrated into the design. This specimen features a clear 1963 postmark from Rotterdam. The surcharge supported Dutch children's charities.
