I had sworn I would never buy any of the “buildings” or other series. But when I saw the details on this cute little “Rose Cottage” from the “Country Cottages” trio - I had to buy it because of all the animals on it! It became my 112th Sadler. The other two in the trio are Ivy House and Wysteria Lodge. I love the drawings of Sven Nordqvist in “Peddersen and Findus” because of all the quirky details and animals - this reminded me just a little bit…
The black lithograph is from after 2000 - so this is a Sadler made by Churchill China, that bought the name.
