Marcia Cross Details 'Desperate Housewives' Reunion β€” Which Cast Attended?

Marcia Cross gave fans an inside look at the recent Desperate Housewives reunion in Paris.

β€œI will never be able to express how absolutely moved I was and still am by the tsunami of love that poured out of everyone at the convention,” the actress, 64, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, June 10. β€œ Each and every one of you touches me with your hearts and souls. And the reunion with our cast mates was sheer heaven.”

Cross, who played Bree Van de Kamp on Desperate Housewives for eight seasons, was one of the several stars who attended the fan convention for the ABC drama. Her post included a video of the cast members in attendance as they posed for a group photo.

The Melrose Place alum sat in between Richard Burgi and Doug Savant. Mark Moses and Cody Kasch also sat in the same row. Both James Denton and Brenda Strong stood behind Cross as they smiled for photos. The back row also included Charlie Carver, Beau Mirchoff, Nicollette Sheridan, Josh Henderson, Andrea Bowen and Shawn Pyfrom.

Neal McDonough was also at the reunion but could not be seen in the group pic. He was previously featured in additional social media clips for the event.

Cross shared a photo of her in a golden statement gown and a muffin basket she received. She also expressed her appreciation for the fans who took the time to attend the event.

β€œThank you for coming and for your place and patience.. your presence and presents!! I still cannot believe that happened,” she continued. β€œFrom now on 🫢🏻 that symbol will always be ours #ifyouknowyouknowdh2026 All my love. Marcia.”

Fans took to Cross’ comments to gush over the experience and share their excitement for the reunion.

β€œYour hug was so comforting. I’m so glad Bree let me meet the incredible human being that you are, Marcia! Thank you for coming to the convention. It was very special for everyone who, like me, has a deep connection with this series. All our love to you ❀️,” one attendee wrote while another gushed, Iit was so incredible and you are so amazing.”

The convention, which was aptly named β€œThe Desperate Con,” took place in Paris last month. The two-day event was the first time the stars of the series reunited as a large group nearly 14 years after the Desperate Housewives finale. Cross was the only main cast member who appeared. Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria, who also starred on the series, were absent.

While Hatcher, Huffman, Longoria and Cross all played friends on the show, it was rumored that there was tension behind-the-scenes while filming. When the show ended in 2012, it was reported that Longoria, Huffman, Cross and Vanessa Williams β€” who joined the series in season 7 β€” teamed up to give farewell gifts to the show’s crew when it ended. Hatcher was seemingly not involved and addressed the alleged tension with her costars.

β€œI will never disclose the true and complicated journey of us all, but I wish everyone on this show well,” she wrote in an email to TV Guide Magazine at the time. β€œMarc created out of thin air a majestic street called Wisteria Lane with its picket fences, its flowers always in bloom … and four really complimentary characters: a selfish girl, a harried woman, a repressed control freak and a soul-searching, well-meaning fumbler. Those four characters and the actresses who played them seemed to meld together in a way that harkens the phrase β€˜once in a lifetime.’”

Tracy Morgan Recalls Brutal Details of Truck Accident That Put Him in a Coma

Tracy Morgan is sharing the brutal details of the fatal car crash with friends after they were hit by a Walmart truck.

Morgan, 57, sat down with Saturday Night Live’s Marcello HernΓ‘ndez for Variety & CNN’s Actors on Actors episode that was released on Wednesday, June 10. In the conversation, the Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins star recalled getting into an accident with friends Ardie Fuqua and the late James McNair, who was killed in the crash.

Back in 2014, Morgan was riding in a limousine with Fuqua and McNair β€” who also went by the stage name Jimmy Mack β€” down the New Jersey Turnpike after finishing up a comedy show.

β€œWe did a show together that night in Delaware, and we got hit. That truck was doing 70 miles per hour with 85,000 pounds of frozen food in the back,” Morgan recalled. β€œAnd my friend Jimmy Mack β€” God bless β€” his neck was broke so bad his face was on his back.”

The topic of the crash came up after HernΓ‘ndez, 28, mentioned that he was friends with Fuqua, 55, who has been a longtime pal of Morgan. Morgan shared that the standup was one of the passengers in the limo crash and also suffered from serious injuries.

β€œThat’s my guy. He was in the accident with me. He was in a coma for 20 days,” Morgan said of Fuqua. β€œI was in it for 10 days.”

HernΓ‘ndez replied, β€œI speak for all of us when I say we are so happy and so blessed that you’re here, man.”

Morgan expressed his gratitude for HernΓ‘ndez’s sentiments and revealed that SNL boss Lorne Michaels reached out to Morgan’s ex-wife, Sabina, to check on his condition after the wreck. (Morgan and Sabrina were high school sweethearts who were married from 1987 to 2009. Sabrina died in 2016 following a battle with cancer.)

β€œLorne must have called my ex-wife about a thousand times to see if I was out the coma,” he recalled.

Not only was Morgan placed in a medically induced coma at the time of the incident, but he sustained multiple injuries including a shattered femur, broken nose, a traumatic brain injury and several broken ribs. After Morgan awoke, the comedian underwent months of physical therapy and rehabilitation so he could learn how to walk and talk again.

The truck driver pleaded not guilty to criminal charges. An investigation conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board found that the driver had been on the road for 13 and a half hours. (The legal limit for a truck driver’s work day is 14 hours.)

Morgan ultimately sued Walmart for negligence. The parties settled the lawsuit in 2015 for an undisclosed amount. The Saturday Night Live alum hinted on Wednesday that he got a generous payment.

β€œYou know why we do comedy? Necessity. But once you make it, then you surround yourself with people that need to do this as a necessity. You might not have no bills to pay, because you made it. But they got bills to pay, so they got to be funny,” he said. β€œI got hit by a Walmart truck, so with the money I got, I don’t need to do this. But I surround myself with people that need to do this and love it.”
