Walmart's Swim Shop Is Filled With Flattering Suits for Women Over 40

The time has come to add a new swimsuit (or two) to your summer wardrobe, but you can skip the scary dressing room altogether. Instead, Walmart’s Swim Shop is filled with flattering one-pieces, bikinis and more that are specifically appreciated by women over 40. That’s because they offer more support and just the right amount of coverage without sacrificing on style.

There are no rules when it comes to bathing suit shopping; the most important thing is that you end up with something that makes you feel good. Whether that’s a solid-color swimsuit with plenty of coverage, a bikini in a bold pattern or a few separates, get something that’s equal parts comfortable and cute. We narrowed down Walmart’s options to the 15 we couldn’t stop thinking about, starting at $13.

15 Swimsuits for Women Over 40 at Walmart

1. Our Favorite: You won’t need a cover-up when you wear this $20 one-piece suit. The built-in wrap skirt has a flattering slit, and basically doubles as a sarong! The adjustable straps and removable cups make it that much better.

2. Best of Both Worlds: With smart ribbing and a wide under band, this triangle bikini top offers more coverage and support than you’d think. And the matching swim skirt has a high-rise fit to complete the look.

3. Bowed Beauty: Available in eight colors, including neutrals and bright hues, this one-piece bathing suit has something for everyone. We like the simple bow ties on the hips, making it a minimalist’s dream.

4. Trusty Tankini: You can’t go wrong with a tankini, and this top has flowy layers. Pair it with the mid-rise or high-rise bottoms, so you can feel your most comfortable by the pool.

5. No Tan Lines: With a bandeau design, you won’t have to worry about awkward tan lines with this one-piece bathing suit. It features gold hardware between the bust and a cutout detail that looks designer.

6. Remarkable Romper: If you’ve never heard of a romper bathing suit, prepare to be seriously impressed. It’s all one piece, but the cinched-in waist makes it look more like clothing for a versatile option.

7. Real Ribbed: This plunge-neck one-piece swimsuit has flattering ribbed detailing on the entire piece that provides a nice textured look. We love the rings on the straps for a style-forward touch.

8. Serious Support: This tankini swimsuit set will comfortably hold you in, thanks to the thick adjustable straps and V-wire design. The matching shorts have adjustable drawstrings for a secure fit, too.

9. Pretty Pattern: It’s all about fun with this underwire bikini top that features a playful summertime print. You have your choice of mid-rise, side-tie and shortie bottoms in the same cute pastel colors.

10. Cute Criss-Cross: Ruching is always a good idea if you want to draw the eye or conceal a certain section, and this V-neck one-piece suit is a winner. Although it comes in black, you might want to venture into one of the brighter color options.

11. Custom Control: With adjustable straps and safety shorts, you won’t feel too exposed in this two-piece tankini set. You can remove the bra padding, too, if that makes the fit more ideal.

12. Simple Style: If you just want a simple one-piece swimsuit, you’ve officially found it. This bathing suit has solid straps, nice butt coverage and a modest scoop neckline.

13. Tasteful Tie: We love to mix and match two-pieces for the optimal fit, so start with this underwire bikini top that ties as tight as you’d like in the back. Then, pair it with the mid-rise or side-tie bottoms in one of the various colors.

14. Sweet Scallops: Draw the eye up with this flowy tankini set that features a scalloped neckline design. The top cinches right under the bust, so the fabric won’t stick to your body.

15. Must-Have Mesh: Teetering on getting a one-piece or bikini? Opt for a little of both with this tankini skirt set. It looks like a one-piece, but has mesh on the stomach for just a bit more exposure.

Knicks Radio Analyst Shades Taylor Swift Attending Game 4 of NBA Finals

New York Knicks radio analyst Monica McNutt had a shady reaction to Taylor Swift’s attendance at Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

The “Fate of Ophelia” singer, 36, was spotted courtside Wednesday, June 10, for the Knicks’ narrow victory over the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden in New York City, sitting alongside Alana and Este Haim.

Swift’s appearance caught the attention of NBA radio commentators Tyler Murray and McNutt, 36, per footage posted on social media.

The duo appeared to be unaware that they were still broadcasting as McNutt asked, “Is that Taylor Swift down there?” Murray then whipped out his phone to take a photo of the singer for his wife.

McNutt can then be heard saying, “She’s not a Knicks fan. Get out of here, girl.”

Us Weekly has reached out to McNutt’s representative for comment.

Social media users came to Swift’s defense, noting her longtime fandom of the Knicks.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy shared via X, “Damn. Hate to see @McNuttMonica hating on Taylor Swift. Lots of new faces in the crowd. Don’t see her singling them out.”

Swift was among the A-listers who cheered on the Knicks on Wednesday night, sitting beside Alana and Este Haim and Mariska Hargitay.

The singer was spotted sitting just a few rows ahead of Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney and her boyfriend, music manager Scooter Braun, with whom she was involved in a dispute over the master recordings of her first six albums in 2019. At the time, Braun purchased Swift’s then-record label Big Machine Records. Braun sold the masters to Shamrock Holdings in 2020, who then sold them to Swift in 2025, allowing her full control over her music catalog.

“[I] went from being like, loved and appreciated for over a decade to literally a villain the next night,” Braun said of the feud during a May appearance on Suzy Weiss’ “Second Thought” podcast.

“I don’t want to go into that, but I will say something that will really sum it up that I don’t know if I’ve ever really said,” Braun, 44, continued. “I don’t know Taylor Swift. I think I’ve met her in my life three times.”

Taylor Swift's Fallout With Big Machine Records: Everything We Know

“I have never had a substantial conversation with her in my life,” Braun said. “I one time got invited to a private party by her. She told me she had the utmost respect for me. I told her I had the most respect for her. You don’t spend $300 million buying a label that she’s on unless you’re excited at the opportunity to work with her.”

He added, “I think I spoke to her, really, once for like more than two minutes. But it was a very nice conversation. And beyond that, nothing ever. And then the three years prior to us buying Big Machine, she and I had no contact. I think it was two years. The party was like two years earlier or three years earlier, and then never had any contact through the whole thing. So I’m just as confused that this is part of my life as you are. But I choose to learn and grow from it.”

Jimmy Kimmel Mocks Trump’s Claim That Spencer Pratt’s Mayor Race Was Rigged

Jimmy Kimmel used his latest late-night monologue to poke holes in President Donald Trump’s theory that Spencer Pratt’s Los Angeles mayoral race was rigged.

“Somehow, the Dumb-ocrats rigged the ballots, but only parts that voted for mayor,” Kimmel, 58, joked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, June 10.

Kimmel openly mocked a conspiracy theory that Trump, 79, shared during an Oval Office press conference to explain why Pratt, 42, failed to advance past the June 2 primary. On Monday, June 8, it was determined that L.A. City Councilwoman Nithya Raman will move forward to challenge Mayor Karen Bass in November’s general election.

Under the California electoral system, a runoff between the top two vote-getters is held unless a single candidate finishes with more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary. In the L.A. mayoral primary, Bass, 72, finished in first place with 34.30 percent, with Raman, 44, in second place with 29 percent and Pratt trailing in third with 25.52 percent, per L.A. Vote.

Kimmel pointed out that Trump’s theory that the race was rigged against Pratt made little sense because the mayoral primary vote appeared on the same ballot as the California’s governor’s race. In the gubernatorial primary, Trump-endorsed Republican candidate Steve Hilton advanced to face Democrat Xavier Becerra in November’s runoff.

On Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host played a clip of Trump’s complaints during a recent Oval Office press conference.

“The only reason [Hilton, 56] got approved, he got all the votes he needed, probably to be first place,” Trump argued. “The only reason they approved Steve Hilton … because the heat was on them. They’re cheating dogs.”

As his studio audience laughed, Kimmel tried to make sense of the theory, “Wow, that is remarkable … The votes for governor, they left untouched! It’s diabolical! It’s a miracle that people that are so incredibly stupid can be so incredibly smart at the same time.”

“In a sane world, that statement [from Trump] would have been the moment where the nurse came in and put him to bed,” Kimmel quipped. “But that’s not the world we live in!”

Trump Slams 'Rigged Elections' as Spencer Pratt Loses 'Big Lead' in Mayor Race

Earlier this week, Kimmel zinged Pratt over his previous vow to leave Los Angeles unless he won the mayoral election.

“[Pratt] said he was done with L.A., and Spencer, if you’re watching, we are so, so sorry to see you go,” the comedian told viewers on Tuesday, June 9. “We do know we’re going to miss the hell out of you. You’re a man of your word and you’ve got to go. You said you were going to go and I know things might be tight right now, especially out-of-state donation money is running out.”

He then offered, “Moving is expensive, so, to help you out, we rented you a U-Haul. It has plenty of room. It’s got two beds, tables, chairs, all your crystals, whatever you want. Our staff spent the whole day decorating for you.”

Pratt clapped back via X on Wednesday by sharing footage of the wreckage of his former home, which burned down in the 2025 Palisades Fire.

“Jimmy Kimmel i guess you missed the part of the story i don’t need a U-Haul…I have nothing left to pack,” he tweeted.

Jimmy Kimmel Slams 'Narcissist' Spencer Pratt's L.A. Mayoral Run

In a recent Us Weekly cover story, Pratt addressed whether he actually planned to leave Los Angeles if his political bid was unsuccessful.

“I’m not doing this to lose, I’m doing this to win and save the city,” he exclusively told Us in May. “My point [was], if I don’t win, L.A. is done, and it’s not going to be livable. It’s going to be out of a dystopian nightmare movie.”

Kimmel’s jokes about Pratt’s primary loss drew a fiery response from former View cohost Meghan McCain, who called the TV host a “mean, heartless b*****d.”

“The day [Kimmel] is off air will be a better day for the country,” McCain, 41, tweeted on Wednesday.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on ABC weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET.

Gigi Hadid’s Busy Mom Uniform Includes This Secretly Polished Staple

Busy moms know that clothes that require tons of adjusting often feel more annoying than fun. Running from place to place, carrying your little one (plus all their stuff), all while having to hike your tube top back up? No thanks. Still, practical fashion doesn’t have to be boring, and Gigi Hadid is a pro at finding that happy medium. The supermodel mama recently stepped out in a sleek, solid-colored sweatshirt style, proving that the wardrobe staple is secretly elevated — if you style it right.

While out and about in New York City, Hadid went with a classic combination, layering a cozy crewneck over a white tee before adding light-wash jeans, fishnet Mary Jane flats, red sunglasses and a structured white bag. The outfit was simple yet extremely polished, which is why we’re rushing to copy the rich mom formula with a budget-friendly Hanes find.

Get the Hanes EcoSmart Fleece Sweatshirt for $12 at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate as of the publishing date but are subject to change.

It’s possible Hadid’s crewneck was a high-end purchase, but the Hanes EcoSmart Fleece Sweatshirt gets you the same timeless look for just $12. Made from a cotton-blend fabric, the wardrobe essential is just heavy enough to keep you warm on cool days yet breathable in sunny summertime weather. Featuring ribbing along the edges, this pick hits right at the waist, saving you from a belly-baring, crop top moment as you go about your day.

Olivia Wilde Just Made Tailored Slacks Look Chic With a Sweatshirt

Hadid’s outfit might be better suited for chilly mornings and nights, but the uniform is one you can easily recreate for warmer temps, too. While we’d still let a white T-shirt peek out from underneath for a fresh, preppy-inspired spin, Bermuda shorts or denim cutoffs can easily replace the jeans while nailing that same rich mom vibe. Can’t bear the thought of something stiff on your body? The Hanes design also balances out striped or gingham boxer shorts for the ultimate casual-chic ensemble.

If blue isn’t your top choice, there are plenty of other colors to choose from; the same sweatshirt comes in pink, purple, green and a ton of neutrals. Many Amazon shoppers note the price and end up buying multiple shades without regret, including one who swore that the pick rivals those from “much more expensive brands.”

“Best sweatshirts, hands down,” one reviewer said. “Material is thinner than regular sweatshirt material, so it fits great with skirts, jeans, shorts. It’s not boxy. I have six different colors. Cannot beat the price. Run. Don’t walk.”

“Very comfy and perfect weight,” wrote another happy shopper. “I bought two!”

Whether you rely on Hadid’s busy mom outfit the next time you’re running 20 minutes late, or need a light layer to shove in your bag on the way to the next activity, this cozy sweatshirt belongs in your cart. At just $12, it’s a no-splurge way to nail a coveted celebrity look, and the fact that there are no straps, hooks or risky necklines to fuss with makes it even more of a must-have!

What Time Does 'Love Island USA' Air? Season 8 Release Schedule Explained

We are back at the Love Island USA villa — but when (and how often) do new episodes drop?

Season 8 of the Peacock hit debuts Tuesday, June 2, following a group of singles who have to pair off in order to stay in the show’s luxury villa in Fiji. The contestants — who are referred to as Islanders — live in isolation in the villa and are under constant video surveillance.

Hosted by Ariana Madix, Love Island USA requires the group to be coupled up in order to have a chance at receiving the $100,000 prize. While the Islanders are filming nonstop for weeks, viewers are watching daily episodes — and even get to cast votes that affect couples and the fate of the contestants.

Love Island USA releases episodes every day (except for Wednesdays!) at 9 p.m. ET. There is also a new Aftersun special every Saturday to recap what took place in the villa that week.

Meet the Sexy New Singles Competing on ‘Love Island USA’ Season 8

Before season 8 even premiered on Peacock, the official Love Island USA account released a statement regarding the cast.

“The Villa runs on good vibes, and so does this community,” read a post shared via Instagram. “We love seeing your reactions, opinions, and debates, but everyone deserves to feel safe and respected.”

The statement continued: “This is a space for fun, not negativity — so keep it kind, keep it positive, and remember: this is LOVE Island!”

Love Island USA made headlines again when contestant Vasana Montgomery was removed ahead of the season 8 premiere after resurfaced social media posts showed her using a slur. Both clips were leaked from her private social media, which meant producers weren’t privy to the posts while casting the show.

‘Love Island USA’ Status Check: Which Couples Are Still Together?

The shakeup came one year after season 7 faced offscreen issues with Yulissa Escobar, who left days into the experience after clips of her using racial slurs on a podcast circulated online.

Cierra Ortega also faced backlash when a resurfaced social media post showed her using a slur. She was pulled from the villa and later issued an apology for her posts.

Millie Bobby Brown Addresses Rumor Jake Bongiovi Doesn't Help Her

Millie Bobby Brown is a strong, independent woman who does not need a man to carry her belongings.

“Hi, I’m Millie Bobbie Brown and I’m not gonna lie, when did women become incapable of holding their own bags, car seats and stuff?” Brown, 22, shared in a sneak peek of the Thursday, June 10, episode of the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “This stems from me holding all of my suitcases and bags and my kid and people are like, ‘Your husband doesn’t hold a single thing.’ Because I’m three miles ahead. I have been planning this all night.”

Earlier this year, Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, went viral when paparazzi photos surfaced of the pair out with their daughter. In one picture, the Stranger Things star was seen pushing a stroller while her husband walked nearby empty-handed.

“We’re all about empowering girls and, ‘You got it’ and ‘You don’t need a man.’ But then when I’m like, ‘Ok, I can carry my own things,’ people are like, ‘Where’s your husband?’” Brown shared. “I can also do it on my own. Nobody knows my husband. My husband is the most polite, sweet, will-do-anything-for-me. But he also knows I’m capable.”

Why Millie Bobby Brown Wants to 'Protect' Baby Daughter From the Spotlight

Podcast host Kylie Kelce — who shares four daughters with husband Jason Kelce — immediately agreed with her guest and shared her own point of view.

“I love this,” Kylie, 34, proclaimed. “The number of times that I have people come up to me and be like, ‘Do you need help with that bag?’ and I’m like, ‘Hey guys, I really appreciate it but if I needed help, I’d ask for it.’ The first person I’m asking — you guessed it — my husband. Thank you.”

While Kylie enjoys “the idea of chivalry” and doesn’t want to make it “dead,” men shouldn’t underestimate the strength of a woman.

“I want there to be a degree of politeness and catering to your woman and whatever,” she continued, “but at the same time, don’t act like I’m broken or dainty.”

Brown replied, “I’m not broken!”

In August 2025, Brown surprised fans when she announced the arrival of her first baby with Bongiovi, 24.

Millie Bobby Brown Posts Rare Photo With Her Daughter on Her 22nd Birthday

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple wrote via Instagram in a joint statement. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

While Brown tries to keep her personal life off of social media and away from the Hollywood spotlight, the actress shared a rare photo of her daughter in February while celebrating a special birthday.

“22. grateful for my husband and daughter. for my family and friends. all of my animals,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I am so blessed. thank you for the birthday wishes. Xoxo.”

Taylor Swift Nearly Crosses Paths With Scooter Braun at NBA Finals

Taylor Swift nearly crossed paths with Scooter Braun and his girlfriend, Sydney Sweeney, while attending Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

The “I Knew It, I Knew You” singer, 36, was seated courtside with her close friends Alana and Este Haim — all wearing custom Knicks gear — at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, June 10, as the Knicks once again took on the San Antonio Spurs.

Swift and her friends were shown on the ABC broadcast cheering loudly throughout the game, though it’s not clear whether they knew how close they were to Braun, 44, and Euphoria star Sweeney, 28.

Footage shared by Entertainment Tonight revealed that Braun and his girlfriend were seated only a few rows behind Swift and her friends — albeit separated by a barricade.

Wednesday’s Knicks game may be the closest Swift and Braun have been to one another since their business dispute erupted in 2019. At that time, Braun acquired Swift’s master recordings from her former record label, Big Machine, for a reported $330 million.

Swift publicly opposed the sale and later commenced re-recording some of her classic albums to retain a sense of creative ownership over the material.

Amidst a very public feud between the two, Braun sold the rights of Swift’s masters to Shamrock Capital for $300 million in November 2020. Nearly five years later, Swift excitedly announced that she’d regained the rights to her original recordings.

“I’m trying to gather my thoughts into something coherent, but right now my mind is just a slideshow,” she wrote on her website in May 2025. “A flashback sequence of all the times I daydreamed about, wished for, and pined away for a chance to get to tell you this news. All the times I was thiiiiiiiis close, reaching out for it, only for it to fall through. I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away. But that’s all in the past now.”

Swift announced, “I’ve been bursting into tears of joy at random intervals ever since I found out that this is really happening. I really get to say these words: All of the music I’ve ever made… now belongs… to me.”

The singer-songwriter later shared on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast in August 2025 that she genuinely did burst into tears when she confirmed the purchase.

“I knock on the door, he’s playing video games and I’m trying to say it in a normal way … he, like, puts his headset down … and I think he thought something was wrong,” Swift remembered. “You come up and I go, ‘I got all my music back and I just absolutely started heaving crying.”

Swift went on, “[I] dropped, had no power in my legs to support myself. This changed my life. I can’t believe it still.”

At the time, Braun told TMZ that he simply “wish[ed] everybody the best” when he was asked about Swift regaining control of her musical catalog.

Scooter Braun Says 'It's Time to Move On' From Taylor Swift Feud

More recently, Braun admitted on the Suzy Weiss’ “Second Thought” podcast in May that he resented the way he was depicted in the dispute with Swift.

“[I] went from being like, loved and appreciated for over a decade to literally a villain the next night. I don’t want to go into that, but I will say something that will really sum it up that I don’t know if I’ve ever really said,” Braun said. “I don’t know Taylor Swift. I think I’ve met her in my life three times.”

The music mogul went on, “I have never had a substantial conversation with her in my life. I one time got invited to a private party by her. She told me she had the utmost respect for me. I told her I had the most respect for her. You don’t spend $300 million buying a label that she’s on unless you’re excited at the opportunity to work with her.”

Meanwhile, Swift’s courtside appearance at Madison Square Garden for Game 4 of the NBA Finals was also intriguing because she’s rumored to be tying the knot with Kelce, 36, at the “world’s most famous arena” later this year.

Zac Efron Is Living Off the Grid in Australian Rainforest ‘Hemp House’

Zac Efron is in the process of building a sustainable $2 million home in the Australian rainforest.

The High School Musical actor, 38, has partnered with eco-friendly designer Joost Bakker and architect Frank Burridge on a residence he calls “Futurecave”, which is located an hour outside of Australia’s famed Byron Bay, per the Daily Mail.

Efron’s design team is using environmentally responsible building materials — largely made from hemp blocks, recycled oyster shells and agricultural waste — and more than 200 sustainable particle boards to construct the six-bedroom, two-story property as well as its internal bricks, mattresses and even bedsheets. All of the bedroom pods will be connected by an outdoor walkway and each has their own rooftop garden.

In December 2025, Efron confirmed to the Australian Financial Review that he purchased a 128-hectare plot in New South Wales in 2020 and is just now starting to develop it.

“I live a pretty fast-paced life and work quite a bit, so in between movies and press tours, my number one goal is always to take time for myself and rest and recharge and to be in nature as much as possible, and as close to the earth as I can, and this land just feels like it’s perfect for that,” Efron explained.

He expressed hopes that the “Futurecave” could become “the coolest house ever built” once the project is complete.

Eforn spent the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia and later returned to the country to film his Netflix travelogue Down to Earth, during which he met Bakker, 51.

Bakker confirmed last November that he had started developing the concept of “Futurecave.”

Zac Efron Through the Years: From 'HSM' Heartthrob to Leading Man

“It’s not every day of the week that @zacefron asks you to design his home, I am beyond excited! Especially as it will be the first home he has ever owned,” he revealed via Instagram at the time. “Zac fell in love with @futurefoodsystem and then our family home in Monbulk and now wants a home of his own + best of all he wants me to push my ideas as far as they can go!”

The designer described Efron’s sustainable home as a “dream come true” that was “pushing my team creatively.”

“For the past year we’ve experimented with making hemp blocks, replacing concrete with two materials that restore the environment hemp, possibly the best plant on earth at repairing and restoring soil health and of course oysters, natures ultimate ocean restorer,” he shared.

Bakker went on, “We are using the most cutting edge technology (invented by the Romans 2000+ years ago) I want to create a building material that I hope will become mainstream one day — a material that naturally breathes, is anti mould, naturally fire resistant and improves the indoor air Zac will ultimately breathe.”

More recently, he confirmed on May 8 that his team was “excited to get started on Zac’s house” after more than six months of lining up the concepts.

A Guide to Zac Efron's Family, Including Sister Olivia and Brother Dylan

“Although @zacefron kitchen and bathroom joinery will only use only 200 hundred boards (less than 1000 square metres of crop) if we embrace this product we have the potential to help farmers restore soil health in a natural way,” he revealed via Instagram on May 22.

Us Weekly has reached out to Efron’s representatives for comment.

Efron told Variety in December 20243 that he was actively trying to shift focus from work to his personal life.

“I’m thinking about where I want to build a home base and cultivate my life,” he said. “It’s shocking — sometimes you wake up after doing three movies a year, and you’re like, I’ve neglected thinking about my own personal life for this long.”

He continued, “The goal is always the next mission, the next movie, making sure everyone else is very happy. It can be very lonely at times. But the process of taking your emotions head-on, sort of working with them, was a profound moment in my life. And it’s definitely taken me down a different road.”

Boy Meets World’s Rider Strong Says He Was ‘Never Close’ With Ben Savage

Rider Strong admitted he was “never close” with Boy Meets World costar Ben Savage before their ongoing estrangement.

“Ben refused to do the [rewatch] podcast [‘Pod Meets World’], but we still communicated with him, still on friendly terms, we thought. But he unfollowed us on Instagram and blocked our phone numbers,” Strong, 46, explained in the new documentary Doc Meets World. “I feel sorry that he’s missing out on the experience that Danielle [Fishel] and Will [Friedle] and I are having.”

The duo played best friends Shawn Hunter and Corey Matthews, respectively, for seven seasons of Boy Meets World from 1993 to 2000, in addition to reuniting on Disney Channel spinoff Girl Meets World from 2014 to 2017.

Strong looked back on his relationship with Savage, 45, as part of the new film, revealing that while they weren’t best friends off-screen, the two costars did form a “mind meld as performers and trusted one another” on set.

Boy Meets World's Danielle Fishel Denies Shading Former Costar Ben Savage

Savage initially remained friendly with Strong and his “Pod Meets World” cohosts Fishel and Friedle — who played Topanga Lawrence and Eric Matthews on Boy Meets World, respectively — after wrapping Girl Meets World.

Per the trio, Savage turned down an invitation to join them as the fourth “Pod Meets World” cohost. Strong relayed that Savage felt the rewatch podcast was not a “worthwhile creative endeavor or way to connect with fans.”

“I flat-out told him, ‘Wow, I’m really going to miss you doing this; I think you’re making a mistake. I really wish you would consider it,’” Strong explains in the documentary. “And he said, ‘I promise you it’s just not for me.’”

Savage allegedly ceased all communications with his former costars around 2020. In Doc Meets World, Friedle shares a text chain of unanswered messages to Savage that dates back several years and insinuates that his onscreen brother eventually blocked his number when he threatened to call him “every day” until they reconnected.

Friedle shared that he still texts Savage “at least once a month” with the “slight hope he’ll reach out one day.”

“I really do miss him. He’s arguably one of the funniest people I’ve ever met in my life,” Friedle tells Strong in the documentary.

Savage has never publicly explained why he cut off contact with his Boy Meets World costars.

Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly, the “Pod Meets World” hosts revealed that while Savage no longer speaks to them, he was always connected to Boy Meets World cocreator Michael Jacobs. (Doc Worlds Meets includes Strong accusing Jacobs, 71, of perpetuating an “abuse cycle” for his treatment of child actors on both the Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World sets.)

“[Michael and Ben have] always been very close,” Fishel, 45, told Us.

'Boy Meets World’ Cast Feuds and Drama Through the Years

Strong concurred, “They’ve always been … creative partners. I mean, I think Michael saw himself in Ben, you know, and then was writing a lot of his own childhood through Ben, and they just had a great relationship.”

As for their future relationship with Savage, Friedle insisted to Us that he wanted to share his feelings about the estrangement “to [Savage’s] face” someday.

Neither Jacobs nor Savage has ever appeared on “Pod Meets World.” Both declined to be interviewed for Doc Meets World.

Sheriff Country‘s Michele Weaver revealed the lengths she went through to hide her pregnancy on the show.

“You all seem to love seeing clips of me hiding my belly last season … so here you go!! 😂,” Weaver captioned an Instagram video on Wednesday, June 10, of her on set of the hit CBS series. “This is what happens when you film until 38 weeks pregnant!!!”

Weaver, who plays Cassidy, previously took to social media in May to address why she hasn’t been in recent episodes, writing, “People keep asking if I was written off. Nope .. just had to leave to have a baby.”

She continued: “I’m back next week! Don’t miss tonight’s episode! If you think you know what’s going to happen next… trust me.. you don’t.”

Which 'Sheriff Country' Stars Are — And Aren't — Returning for Season 2?

During an April episode of the hit CBS series, Cassidy was finally able to solve her missing sister’s case. That involved Cassidy getting kidnapped by a serial killer who got away with murdering women for years.

While Mickey (Morena Baccarin) saved Cassidy just in time, the deputy asked for some time off. The final scene showed Cassidy and her mother driving off in her car while healing from their loss.

The network previously renewed Sheriff Country for season 2 — with Weaver expected to reprise her role as Cassidy. Sheriff Country also stars Baccarin, Christopher Gorham, Matt Lauria and W. Earl Brown while Amanda Arcuri and Ian Quinlan were promoted to series regulars for the second season.

Concern about Cassidy’s future comes after Sheriff Country‘s predecessor, Fire Country, received backlash when budget cuts led to Billy Burke and Stephanie Arcila‘s exits.

“It’s a fire show. Anyone can go at any time,” showrunner Tia Napolitano told Us Weekly in October 2025. “But in terms of losing people, we’re also adding some really fun guest cast. It’s a revolving door of people from Sharon’s past and new faces that are exciting to bring conflict and secrets and twists and turns.”

Napolitano teased how the show will have to balance “really spicing it up” while still walking a “fine line” of paying tribute to the loss.

“What we’ve done is really thread the needle of honoring — especially Vince — because Gabriella is gone, but she’s gone to a happy and successful life. She’s still out there. But we really walk this line of honoring Vince while also finding hope rather quickly,” she noted. “Looking forward, the theme of the season is rising from the ashes and recovery.”

Napolitano continued: “How do you recover from something like this? And we’re really going to see everybody rise to the occasion, in celebration of Vince, of his life and in honoring the sacrifice that he made.”

After speaking with Us, news broke that Napolitano was leaving the show as well. It was announced in March that Eric Guggenheim will be taking over for Napolitano. According to Deadline, Guggenheim is coming on board after previously serving as showrunner of Magnum P.I. and coshowrunner of Hawaii Five-0.

Dennis Quaid Says Los Angeles Is Going 'Downhill’ After Nashville Move

Dennis Quaid was once a proud Los Angeles resident, having risen to fame in Hollywood during the late ‘70s, but he’s now glad to be enjoying a new chapter of his life elsewhere.

“[L.A.] used to be such a great town and the ‘90s was nice,” Quaid, 72, told Fox News at CMA Fest on Saturday, June 6. “And then it’s been kind of going downhill and I feel like people pay these taxes for no services is what it gets down to.”

The Parent Trap star revealed that after living in L.A. for decades, he relocated to Nashville in 2020 with his wife, Laura Savoie.

Although the couple made Music City their primary residence, Quaid kept his home in L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood, which he was forced to evacuate during the deadly wildfires that ravaged the area in January 2025. (The fires, mainly located in the Pacific Palisades and Altadena, destroyed more than 18,000 structures and killed 31 people.)

That experience cemented Quaid’s dissolution with the City of Angels — although he is hopeful for its future.

“The fire happens and it kind of exposes all those things that go on that should have been taken care of,” Quaid explained on Saturday, referring to the aftermath and how complicated it’s been for families to rebuild. “So people are — people are angry, half angry and they’re half kind of feel like giving up, to tell you the truth.”

The Emmy winner — who has also owned homes in his home state of Texas and Montana over the years — claimed that his frustrations with L.A. in recent years aren’t an anomaly.

“I’m just one of thousands who have left,” Quaid said. “And I don’t know, I hope the town comes back. I really do.”

He added, “It used to be such a fantastic town. It was. It was a great community, too. And something’s happened. People need to be inspired there.”

Quaid, who is also a musician, previously addressed his move from California to Tennessee one year after settling down south.

“So many people are moving out of California because they just don’t make it easy to live there,” the Happy Face alum explained to Franklin Lifestyle magazine in June 2021. “It’s getting harder and harder to build something there.”

Quaid, who married Savoie in June 2020, noted that he’s been traveling to Nashville “over the last five years and “kindling a love affair with the city.”

In time, Quaid realized it was the right fit for him and his family. (Quaid shares son Jack, 34, with ex-wife Meg Ryan, and twins Thomas and Zoe, 18, with ex-wife Kimberly Buffington.)

“I just really like it here. I’m originally from Houston, Texas, and it just reminds me of where I grew up and the people I grew up knowing,” he shared. “In fact, I have several cousins here. My grandfather came to Texas from Tennessee in 1903 in a covered wagon. So we’re moving back now I guess.”

Marcia Cross Details 'Desperate Housewives' Reunion — Which Cast Attended?

Marcia Cross gave fans an inside look at the recent Desperate Housewives reunion in Paris.

“I will never be able to express how absolutely moved I was and still am by the tsunami of love that poured out of everyone at the convention,” the actress, 64, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, June 10. “ Each and every one of you touches me with your hearts and souls. And the reunion with our cast mates was sheer heaven.”

Cross, who played Bree Van de Kamp on Desperate Housewives for eight seasons, was one of the several stars who attended the fan convention for the ABC drama. Her post included a video of the cast members in attendance as they posed for a group photo.

The Melrose Place alum sat in between Richard Burgi and Doug Savant. Mark Moses and Cody Kasch also sat in the same row. Both James Denton and Brenda Strong stood behind Cross as they smiled for photos. The back row also included Charlie Carver, Beau Mirchoff, Nicollette Sheridan, Josh Henderson, Andrea Bowen and Shawn Pyfrom.

Eva Longoria Reveals the 4 ‘Desperate Housewives’ Costars She Talks To

Neal McDonough was also at the reunion but could not be seen in the group pic. He was previously featured in additional social media clips for the event.

Cross shared a photo of her in a golden statement gown and a muffin basket she received. She also expressed her appreciation for the fans who took the time to attend the event.

“Thank you for coming and for your place and patience.. your presence and presents!! I still cannot believe that happened,” she continued. “From now on 🫶🏻 that symbol will always be ours #ifyouknowyouknowdh2026 All my love. Marcia.”

Fans took to Cross’ comments to gush over the experience and share their excitement for the reunion.

“Your hug was so comforting. I’m so glad Bree let me meet the incredible human being that you are, Marcia! Thank you for coming to the convention. It was very special for everyone who, like me, has a deep connection with this series. All our love to you ❤️,” one attendee wrote while another gushed, Iit was so incredible and you are so amazing.”

The convention, which was aptly named “The Desperate Con,” took place in Paris last month. The two-day event was the first time the stars of the series reunited as a large group nearly 14 years after the Desperate Housewives finale. Cross was the only main cast member who appeared. Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria, who also starred on the series, were absent.

While Hatcher, Huffman, Longoria and Cross all played friends on the show, it was rumored that there was tension behind-the-scenes while filming. When the show ended in 2012, it was reported that Longoria, Huffman, Cross and Vanessa Williams — who joined the series in season 7 — teamed up to give farewell gifts to the show’s crew when it ended. Hatcher was seemingly not involved and addressed the alleged tension with her costars.

“I will never disclose the true and complicated journey of us all, but I wish everyone on this show well,” she wrote in an email to TV Guide Magazine at the time. “Marc created out of thin air a majestic street called Wisteria Lane with its picket fences, its flowers always in bloom … and four really complimentary characters: a selfish girl, a harried woman, a repressed control freak and a soul-searching, well-meaning fumbler. Those four characters and the actresses who played them seemed to meld together in a way that harkens the phrase ‘once in a lifetime.’”
