Fashion Bulletin: Chanel’s Foot Fest & Demna’s Gucci Is Going Good

Welcome back and happy Chanel Cruise week to all who celebrate. On Tuesday, Matthieu Blazy took to Biarritz to show his debut Cruise collection for the house, and in doing so, bagged a viral shoe moment that has been living rent-free in my head ever since. The shoe in question was not really a shoe, but a mere “heel cap” with a lace up ankle detail. Some were outraged, others intrigued, others delighted! It’s not the first time an impractical foot-forward shoe would grace a runway and it certainly won’t be the last. But it did get us thinking about the trend cycle’s more recent gravitation towards foot liberation. First the Tabi, then clear jelly shoes; last summer saw a serious flirtation with Vibram 5-finger shoes, and now we’re ditching soles altogether for a full blown-foot fest. The fetishists must be having a field day.

Chanel Tops The Q1 Lyst Index

Speaking of Matthieu Blazy’s viral capabilities, the Lyst Index 2026 has officially dropped for Q1, and to no surprise, Chanel has bagged the top spot. It’s no doubt driven by the brand’s sustained demand and increased visibility under Blazy’s direction, which has seen products like the pumps and the re-imagined Maxi flapbag reach new heights in terms of demand. Saint Laurent sits in second position, while Dior comes in at third, thanks to Jonathan Anderson’s genius. Interestingly, Gucci is back up in the top five for the first time since 2022, showing an increase in a 12% day-on-day spike in demand immediately after the show—yes, the show that copped a huge amount of backlash for being…too boring? Apparently I wasn’t the only one who liked it after all!

Gucci Releases “Generation Gucci” Campaign

Next up for Gucci is Demna’s newly released “Generation Gucci” Campaign, a campaign that centers on a collective of individuals who embody the new generation of the House under Demna’s direction—including top models such as Alex Consani, Amelia Grey, but also influencers like Meredith Duxbury and Alton Mason  Via a series of 84 images, one for each look, Demna photographed silhouettes of his new Gucci that we know and love: the knife-point pumps, the Giglio Bag, the monogrammed fanny packs, the jersey dresses, and more. Per the Lyst index’s findings, if there is one thing Demna is going to do, it’s turn a brand around. And fast!

Burberry Unveils Hunza G Capsule

As part of its high summer campaign, Burberry has collaborated with Georgiana Huddart’s Hunza G, the cult swimwear label famed for its Original Crinkle ultra-stretch fabric. For the collaboration, the brands have combined the classic Hunza G fabrication with iconic Burberry colors and Burberry Check trims. After a Burberry bikini summer last year, the collaboration makes perfect sense to further Burberry’s swimwear offering. To celebrate the launch, a series of portraits by Ryan McGinley captures British actor Simone Ashley and model Alva Claire wearing pieces from the swimwear capsule on the beach. Let’s go, Europe summer!

Cou Cou Intimates Partners with Adwoa Aboah

The It girl lingerie brand that does numbers with the gorgeous girlies of the world has partnered with Gurls Talk founder and model, Adowa Aboah, to create a t-shirt in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May. The special edition “Out of Order” tee has been designed with life’s messiness in mind, and the profits will go to Aboah’s Gurls Talk community-led nonprofit organization, dedicated to promoting the mental health and wellbeing of adolescent girls and young women. In a moment where our mental health is deteriorating in the face of geopolitical issues, social media addiction, and general social and political chaos, we could all do with a little extra support—and a little extra conversation.

The Bag For All Occasions Is A Beaded One

Now that spring has (technically) fully sprung, I'm prepared to pack away my knits and winter accessories. While living in NYC comes with limited storage space, there's something exciting about swapping out your wardrobe as the seasons change and rediscovering the pieces that you know and love. My spring wardrobe of course comes with more dresses, more skirts, and more color, but even my bag rotation changes a bit. Dark colors are swapped out for neutrals and pops of color that complete a look, and the texture comes out to play—this season in the form of beads.

There's a reason why the beaded bag has stood the test of time. From the beaded fringe bags of the '20s and '30s, the chunky acrylic beads of the '60s and '70s, to bold colors and beaded illustrations of the '80s and '90s, the beaded bag is and has always been a tried and true way of adding a statement to any look.

At Fendi's Spring/Summer 2026 show, the brand paid homage to the bags featuring beaded illustrations with floral beaded iterations of their iconic baguette bag and staple pouchette. For the baguette, the white and black beads are contrasted by a bright yellow strap and lining. In the case of the pouchette, the bag isn't lined at all—the gaps in the beaded pattern are wide open, exposing all of your everyday essentials (a travel sized bottle of Fendi's Ciao Amore fragrance, anyone?)

Beaded bags offer just the right amount spring and summer energy, so they're perfect for those seasons, but could also arguably be pulled out in the gloomy months when you're in need of a little sunshine.

On Stella McCartney's Spring/Summer 2026 runway, I spotted two trends merged into a single vibrant red pouch bag: crochet and beads. There is something about crochet that just reminds me of a fun, carefree spring and summer—even more so when paired with beads. This pouch is begging to be taken on a tropical vacation and carried out to a dinner on the beach.

Chanel's Metiers d'Art 2026 collection, on the other hand, paid homage to beaded fringe of the '20s and '30s. In this collection, the house's forever iconic flap bags were dripping in dainty beads. This bag calls for a chic, sophisticated night out at a jazz club: martinis, men in suits, and a place where smoking cigarettes inside is allowed.

There's a beaded bag for all occasions, so I think it's time that we all purchase numerous of them.

Most Coveted: Our April Fashion & Beauty Favorites

As we prepare for May and the inevitable mayhem that accompanies the Met Gala, we're taking a quick pause to reflect on the month of April—is it just us or did it really fly by? While we're still not quite sure of what to make of the weather and everyday continues to be an ongoing battle with the question what are we supposed to wear? at the forefront, we have warm weather on our minds. We are desperately craving spring and already trying to make plans for summer—everything is truly moving so fast. This craving is reflected in the ways we've been shopping: swimwear, wedding season pieces, pops of color, and kitten heels begging to be paired with little dresses and skirts. We're taking it one day at a time, but manifesting through the things we pick up along the way. While it might feel like everything is changing all at once, Coveteur editors being indulgent avid shoppers will always be a constant—and that's honestly weirdly comforting to me.

Ahead, the fashion finds and beauty picks that we coveted throughout the month of April.

Fashion:

Jandéqene Corvette Dress

"Every woman needs a red silk dress. This one from Jandeque is the perfect silhouette. Lightly body-hugging in all the right places, but with wispy and romantic details for a fairy-esque fit." - Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Parker Thatch Jack Bag

"This is my new carry-everything bag, whether I'm toting around my laptop and gym shoes to work or piling my toiletries and books into it as an in-flight carry-on. The soft black leather has the perfect slouchy shape, and it looks chic with every outfit without sacrificing on space (it holds a shockingly large amount of things)." - Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Sau Lee Gillian Lace Dress

"Sau Lee designer Cheryl Leung makes gorgeous pieces inspired by her US-meets-Hong-Kong upbringing, and this sheer white late dress is at the top of my list to wear to a chic summer soirée." - Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Fruity Booty Scoop Double Layer Top

"I love a mint shade for spring at the moment, and this scoop double layer top from fruity booty feels both practical and a sweet layering piece for the warmer months." - Ella O'Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Franco Sarto Pura Slingback

"Spring has sprung, and suddenly I’m looking for every excuse to wear a kitten heel again. I always come back to Franco Sarto, who makes chic, wearable heels I can actually walk in. And the best part about these? They’re currently 30% off at Famous Footwear." - Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Frankies Bikinis Reece Satin Bikini Top

"I’m already starting to think about swimwear sets, even though it’s only the beginning of spring. But honestly, it’s never too early… because the best ones always sell out way too fast. Currently, I’ve snagged this one from Free People as it has that elevated feel I always look for in swimwear. The satin finish makes it feel a bit more special than your standard bikini, and the halter shape is super flattering." - Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Selezza Dazzle Mini Dress

"Shopping for my bridal wardrobe has been a struggle, so when I found a unique brand with the most beautiful pieces, it felt like a sign. I hadn’t seen any other bride wear this, and it was the perfect going-out dress—from the low back to the sequins. Not to mention, I danced in it for hours and it was surprisingly comfortable. The dress arriving at my doorstep the morning of my bachelorette party? A true miracle." - Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

BAOBAB Corsica Top

"With summer coming up way quicker than I expected, I’ve been refreshing Baobab’s new arrivals every week. I love finding pieces that have multiple uses—I can wear this as a bathing suit cover up or style it for a chic dinner moment with shorts. The colorful resin stones are chefs kiss." - Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

Cult Gaia Carly Sandal

"Cult Gaia coming out with a bridal collection is probably the greatest news during my bridal era. When I saw these new shoes—a twist on their classic Calla Lily style—I had to have them. Calla lilies are the main character at my wedding this summer, so this feels like a match made in heaven." - Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

Za Zewelz Nova Minimal Cuff

"I've been slowly upgrading my jewelry rotation and this cuff makes the perfect statement. I love how it feels like abstract art, futuristic, and subtle all at the same time." - Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Puma Speedcat Sneakers

"I feel shoes serve as the perfect opportunity to add a pop of color to your look and red sneakers are having their moment this season. I love how these Puma's feel old school, have a slim silhouette, and are genuinely comfy." - Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Silpada Clean Flow Ring

"I'm the type of girl who never takes her rings off, for better and often for worse—so, I'm working on changing that. Part of this evolution includes building a larger rotation and swapping out rings based on my vibe and my look. This Silpada ring has been the perfect addition to my collection—it's simple, goes with everything, and still features some fun wavy details." - Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Beauty:

House Of Bō Xuxú Fragrance

"I've been a fan of House Of Bō's lush, gender-neutral scents for awhile now, but the new Xu Xú fragrance has jumped to the top spot for me. A sweet blend of clementine, white musks and Mexican vanilla that fades into a damask rose and earl grey tea base, it's a gourmand scent that feels flirty, yet sophisticated. I've been wearing it non-stop since I received it and each time, it gives me a dopamine boost." - Faith Xue, Editor-in-Chief

Celine Matte Lip Balm

"As a girl who doesn’t wear lip gloss, Celine’s tinted matte lip balms are a dream come true for moments where you want a little something, but prefer a more muted look." - Ella O'Keeffe, Senior Fashion Editor

Biodance Bio Collagen Mask (4 Pack)

"I finally tried the Biodance collagen mask everyone’s been talking about—and I get the hype now. After running through a full pack, this overnight mask (you leave it on for 3–4 hours) has become my go-to when I want my skin to look really good with minimal effort." - Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Chris McMillan The Lightweight Glassy Hair Oil Mist

"I’m usually wary of hair oils because I never want that greasy, weighed-down look—but this one from Chris McMillan completely changed my mind. The mist applicator delivers a light, even veil that leaves my strands with a healthy, glossy finish. I've found it especially great for refreshing a blowout, instantly smoothing frizz, and restoring shine." - Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

Creed Wild Vetiver Eau de Parfum

"If you’re like me and love a floral fragrance but still want that edge you usually get from something muskier, this Creed fragrance is for you. You still get the floral right away, but it’s not one of those scents that stays overly delicate. As it wears, a warmer undertone comes through, giving it more depth and keeping it from feeling too light or predictable." - Kala Herh, Social Strategy Lead

HigherDose Red Light Showerhead Filter

"Red light has always been one of those buzzwords I couldn’t ignore—I’ve tried the masks, the saunas, all of it. But when I came across a showerhead filter with built in red light, I was instantly curious. Filtration and full body red light? That’s my kind of efficiency. Manifesting longer hair and glowing skin." - Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

Rare Beauty Brow Gel

"I’m incredibly picky when it comes to my brows. I had heard great things about this brow gel, but I was worried it wouldn’t be as heavy duty as I like, and I was happily very wrong. My brows look like I just got a fresh lamination, and they don’t budge. Consider me converted." - Natasha Sheridan, Social Creative Lead

Armani Beauty Cheek Tint Wear Liquid Blush

"I own these in probably every single color and no matter which one I reach for on any given day, at least one person always asks me what I'm wearing. I mostly lead towards this warm terracotta and the warm rich brown, but when the weather finally remains consistently warm, I know I'll be reaching for the pinks." - Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Jo Malone London Lime Basil & Mandarin Cologne

"My signature scent forever and the one that I get the most compliments on. I just love the balance of zest and aromatic herbs. It's unlike any other fragrance that I own and any fragrance that I've ever smelled." - Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Face Mask

"As a dry-skinned gal, I've tried a good handful of overnight masks—but I always return to this one. My skin just seems to love the squalane and I love how the consistency feels on my skin. So much so that I sometimes layer it over my moisturizer during the day." - Bianca Asare, Associate Editor

You've Never Smelled Anything Like Gamine Before

If you feel like everyone and anyone is releasing fragrances these days, you're not alone. But this is what I'll say: it's not often that a new fragrance brand is backed by decades of familial history. That’s what immediately drew me to Gamine, founded by experienced beauty executive and creative Melanie Dir. Dir is the daughter of master perfumer Claude Dir, who has created scents for the likes of Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs, so it's safe to say that fragrance is in her blood. From infancy, she was exposed to resins, musks, woods, and accords, developing a nasal palate that so many of us don't even have in adulthood. Then, at the age of six, her father began formally training her in raw materials and composition.

So, it was only a matter of time before Dir took everything that she learned throughout her childhood and all that her father instilled in her and built her very own fragrance brand. While the brand emerges from her family tradition, she is also paving her own way. "With GAMINE, I constructed a new system built on three codes: global, grit and luxury," she says. The packaging is designed in Brooklyn which represents Dir's present; batched in Grasse, a small French village near Cannes, which represents her familial past; and composed in Milan, which represents her life-long affinity for consistently traveling and not staying in one place for too long.

The formulas consist of concentrated natural essential oils, resulting in scents incomparable to other fragrances. At a deskside in Coveteur's office, I immediately noticed that her rose fragrance, 1000g, smells nothing like any other rose fragrance I've ever smelled. That's because it's natural, grounded in the earth, and balanced with notes of Nepal pepper, blue chamomile, oakmoss, and more.

Dir describes one of her other offerings, Heroic Dose, as an "aromatic trip" that's both clean and dirty at the same time. It's sharp, but also smoky, cerebral yet bodily, and features balanced notes of blue hemp, salty marine air, chocolat noir, saffron, French hay, bourbon, cumin, and patchouli for a blend unlike anything that anyone else has ever thought of—but that works perfectly. I would describe this fragrance as round and inherently masculine, but not necessarily in a gendered way—more so in that it felt assertive and strong.

The third offering from this launch is Altered States, which aims to "ground the body in immersive frequency" through notes of nutmeg, cardamom, plum, black truffle, sandalwood, guaiac wood, and more. Despite self-describing myself as a floral fragrance girl, this is the one that I immediately knew was my favorite. It smelled earthy, natural, and warm, and brought me back to sunny spring days spent outside during my college days in the Hudson Valley—it felt nostalgic even though I didn't create and bottle the fragrance myself.

Each scent is available in the form of a traditional spray perfume—called Bricks because of the weighted glass packaging and industrial eco rub top, resulting in a hefty bottle reminiscent of a brick—and a smaller solid perfume, in the form of a little ball you can easily toss into your bag and take everywhere for inevitably necessary touchups. Plus, in line with the bag charm trend, GAMINE offers hardware in the form of a cube that the solid perfumes easily fit into (and be shown off in).

With so much history to back up Dir and her inaugural solo perfume drop, team Coveteur can confidently predict that GAMINE will quickly become the next cult favorite fragrance brand—mark our words.

10 Low Profile Sneakers We're Shopping For Spring & Summer

Back in 2016, it was all about the chunky sneaker. As a freshman and sophomore in college, I loved wearing my insanely bulky Fila Disruptor sneakers with my little dresses, always either vintage or from Urban Outfitters. What a time to be alive. Over the past few years, though, sneaker silhouettes have become slimmer and slimmer—now, the low profile sneaker is all the rage.

The low profile sneaker trend has been reflected on countless runways in recent years. At Dries Van Noten's Spring/Summer 2026 show, the brand presented red, yellow, gold, black, brown, and blue low profile sneakers and made a case for the style's versatility. Sneakers were paired with formal dresses and casual bloomers alike. Fendi's Spring/Summer 2026 collection did the same, forcing us to reconsider the idea of the style as strictly casual.

Now, it seems it's time for us all to stock up on slim sneakers for the sake of our spring and summer wardrobes. For those days that you just need to be comfortable. For your ease, we've rounded up the best of the best low profile—happy shopping!

The Best Low Profile Sneakers:

1. Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Sneakers

I might be biased as the proud owner of these (plus a silver pair), but theses are arguably the perfect sneaker—so much so, that you'll want them in several colors. The branded tongue on the back is the perfect finishing touch.

Product Info:

Size Range: 36-49

Color Options: 15

2. Adidas Tokyo Sneakers

Again, I might be biased as the owner of this exact pair, but at least I'm speaking from experience. Trust me when I say this: these are so comfortable. Plus the low-profile silhouette is both a nod to vintage sneakers and a signal of where sneaker trends are headed.

Product Info:

Size Range: 5-15

Color Options: 11

3. Paloma Wool Miles Sneaker

As someone who constantly browses the Paloma Wool site and covets from afar, these are the latest item to catch my eye. Available in a range of colors including muted reds and pastel yellow and pink, these have me considering colored sneakers from spring and summer.

Product Info:

Size Range: 36-41

Color Options: 3

4. Repetto Silver Silk Tennis Sneakers

A fan favorite ballet flat brand has entered the sneaker game—but hasn't compromised their aesthetic one bit. These sneakers still feel dainty and are complete with satin laces which help keep the ballet-core aesthetic alive.

Product Info:

Size Range: 35-42

Color Options: 11

5. Dries Van Noten Leather-Trimmed Suede Sneakers

From lilac to yellow, Dries Van Noten is encouraging us all to add a pop of color to our spring looks via shoes. But this is my argument: red sneakers are having a major moment. Regardless of what color you choose, these suede and leather sneakers deserve a spot in your rotation.

Product Info:

Size Range: 35-41

Color Options: 11

6. Puma Speedcat OG

A true classic. First released back in 1999 for Formula 1 racers, Puma brought these back in 2024. Now, it's tough to go a day in Brooklyn without seeing at least one girl in a pair. Available in 13 color-ways, some neutral and some bold, and at a relatively reasonable price-point, these seem like a no brainer to me.

Product Info:

Size Range: 5.5-11

Color Options: 13

7. Maison Margiela Sprinter Sneakers

For me, the pebbled rubber soles are everything. Modeled on traditional running sneaker styles, these feature textured-leather and suede trims. Plus, the neutral color-way of this particular pair will have you throwing these on with anything and everything.

Product Info:

Size Range: 6-13

Color Options: 13

8. Balenciaga City Studded Sneakers

We all know and love the forever iconic Balenciaga City Bag—but did you know that they exist in the form of shoes? I can say this with confidence: these are surprisingly comfortable. They're available in 7 colors, some leather and some suede, but this ballerina pink just speaks to me.

Product Info:

Size Range: 35-41

Color Options: 7

9. Acne Studios Metallic Leather Sneakers

There's one major selling point for me here: the lace up detail on the back akin to a corset—so precious. The perfect ballet flat and sneaker fusion and available in both metallic silver and gold, these might offer the shine that your outfit is missing.

Product Info:

Size Range: 35-41

Color Options: 2

10. Dries Van Noten Leather Sneakers

Dries Van Noten, once again, is asking us to wear colorful sneakers this season. These remind me of a bowling shoe in the most chic way possible. Made out of glossy eel-effect leather and featuring white trim, these will put a striking finishing touch on any look.

Product Info:

Size Range: 35-41

Color Options: 4

Matthieu Blazy's Chanel Goes Back to The Beach

Biarritz has always been a spiritual home for Gabrielle Chanel. In 1915, the designer opened a couture house on the Basque coast. Today, Matthieu Blazy returned to the salon for his first-ever Cruise show.

In Biarritz, Gabrielle Chanel unearthed a freedom that, at the time, only existed away from the tightly-wound etiquette that accompanied city life. For Chanel Cruise 2026, Blazy touched this sense of liberation once again, reimagining what madame Chanel so deftly brought together over a century ago: a freedom to move and explore the natural world.

Chanel is a brand that knows how these themes interact with one another and create silhouettes that convey ease, function, and elegance. And Matthieu Blazy, at the helm, has proven that he understands the demands of a house that has crystal-clear codes, yet is constantly expanding. This was, partially the legacy of Karl Largerfeld, whose vision knew no bounds in the face of any tangible limitations. But this very idea started with Gabrielle Chanel’s curiosity for a world beyond what women knew in the early 20th century.

Today, in the place where Madame Chanel did so much to free women of what was expected of them, Blazy used the natural world—the sea, sand, and sun—to redefine and reinterpret the folklore of the house. Starting with the black dress, one of Chanel’s most storied silhouettes. For Cruise, Blazy returned to Gabrielle’s original sketch: a mid-length black crepe shift dress with a deep v-neck with white art-deco stitching across the body. The large bow, which was originally situated at the back of the dress, was transformed into a clutch bag held beside the model as a modern take, drawing us back to the origins of the house. For Blazy, this marked a new beginning.

The dress was followed by a women’s tuxedo, then a black mini dress with a matching jacket, the collar of which was lined with beaded starfish; a CC emblazoned bathing cap accompanied the look. The next exit was a beaded tank dress in coral red with an asymmetric hem, mimicking marine invertebrates. Then, a series of languid silk foulard dresses with waist ties and open tweed and denim suits, all accessorized with bathing caps or barefoot shoes with "heel caps," or bags that had tiny, Chanel cap-toed shoes fastened to the straps. The duality of these accessories—of giant raffia beach bags with hand-beaded evening flap bags and barefoot sandals against art deco court heels—conveys the "beach to bar" concept in the most glamorous sense of the term.

The signature double C became a structural element, rather than an overly-branded one. A black and cream silk dress featured the interlocking logo at the torso, the bends of the C’s forming off-the shoulder draped sleeves. Nautical red, navy, and ecru stripes added to the seaside feel, while sequin paillettes shimmered on dresses and suits like mermaid scales, furthering this textural theme that Blazy has been riffing on since his Spring debut, where he builds on signature shapes while adding his own tactile touch.

At Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel Cruise, he returned to the idea of levity that has carried his first three collections at the house. He's a master in uniting a sense of timelessness with a seemingly intrinsic knowing of how the modern woman wants to feel and dress. This is really all Chanel is in its most concentrated form. The savoir-faire, yes. The glamour, the luxury, the couture of it all, yes. But Chanel pared back has always been simply about the woman—and this Chanel woman is at the beach.

The Military Jacket Is Back On Duty

military jackets

This Spring, the military jacket has officially made a triumphant return. It's fair to say that troubling times and an uncertain political climate impacts the way that we dress, whether we're conscious of it or not. With this in mind, it's only natural that during this moment in history, we all want to feel strong and protected, even if through clothing.

Back in 2025, Jenna Ortega wore a military drummer vest to Dior's Spring/Summer 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week. It was also around that time that Sofia Richie Grainge showed off her pregnant belly in an unbuttoned military jacket at Vogue World. Then, the references were seemingly endless. On the Spring/Summer 2026 runways, designers like Ann Demuelemeester's Stefano Gallici sent countless military jackets down the runway—and then did the same for the brand's Fall/Winter 2026 show. Gallici's military jackets featured intricate yellow frogging, broad shoulders, distinct button details, plus pipping and colored trim.

The frog closure, a decorative braided fastener, was popular on Khaite's Fall/Winter 2026 runway, too. Leather jackets, wool jackets, and even semi-sheer button up tops featured this detail, paying homage to the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries.

Elsewhere, Keburia's Fall/Winter 2026 runway was military jacket central, offering numerous color-ways, and pieces that paid homage to the past, as well as pieces that put a modern spin on the traditional style—a cream military jacket with fur trimmed sleeves and a fur trimmed collar, for example.

With celebrities like Dua Lipa embracing the trend and opening our eyes to their styling potential, all of team Coveteur is officially adding military jackets to our shopping carts.

These Pieces Will Have You Feeling Cozy Yet Cool While You WFH

While working from home certainly has its perks, it comes with some downfalls—almost never having to put together an outfit, is one example. Not wanting to wear your best clothes and a full face of makeup to just sit at home for no one to see you or appreciate your look or, in my case, for only those that I see on my daily walks with my dog, Jimi Hendrix, to see. With that being said, I'm trying to up my comfortable clothes game—and I encourage everyone to do the same.

It's psychologically proven that putting on a good outfit can genuinely improve your mood, confidence, and general mental state;"enclothed cognition" is what they call it. It makes a lot of sense. Even if you're getting dressed with the expectation of no one seeing you, feeling good and put together sparks joy—and we need joy even while working from home. I guess the moral of the story is this: our comfortable, cozy clothes can be cute, too.

Ahead, 12 cozy pieces for your work from home days.

Free People World Tour Set

I'm of the mindset that a matching set immediately makes you feel put together. And that feeling put together sets a positive tone for the rest of your day. This Free People set will have you feel cozy, sporty, and chic at the same time.

Guest In Residence Track Pant

These track pants are made out of a lightweight cotton cashmere blend, making them perfect for working from home year round. The pale yellow is contrasted by red and blue side-stripes for a colorway that is perfectly spring appropriate.

Entire Studios Eternal Zip Hoodie

The defining detail of this hoodie besides its perfectly boxy silhouette is that the zipper literally goes up all around the hoodie. This detail might be subtle, but it's still a one that counts.

Adidas Originals Wide-Leg Leopard-Print Track Pants

If we're speaking about track pants, no one does it quite like Adidas. While I personally believe that vintage Adidas is superior, if you're not looking to go that route or having trouble finding your size and preferred color way, these will make a worthy addition to your WFH rotation.

Leset Pointelle Boxer Pant

To me, nothing is sweeter than pointelle. Featuring a wide leg silhouette, dainty eyelets, and henley buttons, these pants are lightweight and the perfect coquette addition to your workday.

Leset Pointelle Tank

I couldn't resist recommending a matching moment—it's simply too sweet. Pair those boxer pants with this dainty tank for a perfectly put together look. If you're feeling chilly, throw on a hoodie in a bold or bright color.

Collina Strada Green Wave Hem Hoodie

Plain, classic hoodies will always have a spot in my wardrobe—they're a staple. But as of late, I'm interested in hoodies with interesting details, in unique colors, or featuring an intriguing design. Statement sweatshirts, if you will. This Collina Strada hoodie checks all of the boxes: the asymmetric hem, the bright green color, and the hand-painted floral graphic.

Boys Lie Ready To Ride Harley Zip-Up

When I think of statement sweatshirts (and sweatpants), the first brand that comes to mind is Boys Lie. The co-founders were going through breakups at the same time and the brand was born, in 2018, through the bonding that encourages. This hoodie has everything: the brand's logo, the phrase 'men don't' added beneath, and a cherub graphic on the back.

Patrizia Pepe Oversized Fleece Track Pants

Everyone needs a pair of gray sweatpants in their rotation—extra points if they feature interesting details or a distinct silhouette. These Patrizia Pepe fleece pants feature a cinched sculptural design that adds extra volume in the legs.

Aritzia Cozy Sweatfleece Mega Cargo Sweatpant

Whoever first designed the cargo sweat pant deserves their flowers—what a concept. Pair all of the comfort of a sweat pant with all the function of a cargo pant, and the perfect pant is born. The pockets add a functional element as well as a style element that alludes to rugged workwear.

Damson Madder Antonella PJ Set

Damson Madder makes the chicest pajama sets, full stop. Pajamas that I would confidently walk around my neighborhood walking my dog in like yes, I just rolled out of bed and yes, this is what I sleep in. These are the type of pajamas that you could change out of your actual pajamas to wear throughout your work from home day—they're just that cute.

Adidas Sprinter Shorts

I think everyone needs at least one pair of athletic shorts in their rotation, and not just for work from home purposes. I think this spring and summer will be the seasons of dressing up athletic shorts, but that's an entirely different story. The point is this: athletic shorts are multi-functional and why not get polka dot ones?

What Are Fashion People Listening To?

Music is connected to everything, but especially fashion. Now more than ever, music and fashion often act in symbiosis with one another, blending worlds and inspiring collections, albums, image-making and song production. This month, we caught up with some of our favorite fashion people to find out what they are listening to at the moment. From it girl DJ Sophia Ziskin's affinity for Kelela to designer Emily Dawn Long's The Dare remixes, ahead we catch up with 7 people in fashion and beyond to share what's on repeat.

Taylore Scarabelli, Writer

"I've been purging my closet and listening to the news and long form articles instead of music. It's a good time to pay attention to what's going on in the world—my daily is Democracy Now!"

Dione Davis, Stylist

"I have my playlists for specific life tasks. I can’t really work without music or I’ll get sucked into my phone. I hate my phone. I want to throw it in a lake.

For emails I need no lyrics. Same with style outs. I often ask producers to turn off the music while I’m working because it drives me insane. Either classical, jazz, or something mellow.

Music for 18 Musicians, Steve Reich

Glassworks Extended Edition, Philip Glass

Goldberg Variations, Glen Gould

Creative Decks require repetition. I like sounds I could potentially dance to or something powerful. I listen to a lot of punk, hardcore, and house when I’m formatting decks.

Dmitri From Paris – After the Playboy Mansion, Rodrigo Espinoza

Amnesia, Mr Fingers

Wildflower, The Avalanches

Bad Brains, Bad Brains

Bopping around the city, it really depends on my mood but here’s my recent faves. I like music to romanticize my life. The earth is burning I might as well make my life feel like a movie.

Moon Safari, Air

PM Dawn, Of the Heart, of the Soul and of the Cross: The Utopian Experience

Animaru, Mei Simones"

Michel Gaubert, Music Producer & Sound Engineer

"I like the new Kim Gordon album, it's very different. There's one track called Girl With A Look that I really like. I like Rosalía... I listen to Caterina Barbieri also because I think she's an amazing artist. Wow. Also, I like very much a guy that we play, a musician that we played in the last ready-to-wear show. His name is Emile Mosseri."

The 28 Best Skincare Products Of 2026, According To Experts

eighth day moisturizer

See the full winners of Coveteur's 2026 Beauty Awards: The Insider Edit.

Most people don’t need more skincare—they need better skincare that actually works. For Coveteur’s Beauty Awards: The Insider Edit, we skipped the usual superlatives and went directly to the people who are constantly testing, comparing, and quietly swapping products in and out of their routines: top estheticians, dermatologists, and skincare experts. We asked them for the products that they would never swap out, and the answers were...revealing. One esthetician said she recommends a serum to all her clients dealing with breakouts, and always gets a glowing testimonial afterwards; turns out, two other estheticians on our committee recommended the same one. (Spoiler alert: it's the SIV Biome Balancing Serum, and yes, it won a category.) All of our winners below have the insider stamp of approval—because if it's good enough for Emma Stone's facialist, it's good enough for us.

We looked at thousands of submissions and narrowed the winners down by number of nominations, quality of ingredients and efficacy. Ahead, find the 27 best skincare products of the year and what skincare pros actually use.

Best Cleansing Oil:

Environ SkinEssentiA Pre-Cleansing Oil

It may seem counterintuitive for a cleansing oil to both remove makeup and dissolve pore-clogging sebum, but this nourishing cleanser from the esthetician-beloved brand does both exceedingly well. “It’s lightweight, breaks down excess sebum, and doesn't leave a film on the surface,” says NYC aesthetician Madalaina Conti. “The perfect first cleanse that won’t block product absorption of your following routine. It’s a staple in and out of the studio.”

Best Overall Cleanser:

AUNU Manuka Cleanser

The next best thing to washing your face with honey (and way less sticky), this balm-textured face wash has a 54 percent glycerin base that hydrates the skin instead of stripping away its natural oils. Manuka honey helps to balance the skin’s microbiome as it eliminates acne-causing bacteria. “Under steam, it melts so beautifully into the skin, dissolves buildup effortlessly, and the subtle honey note makes it such a sensorial treatment staple,” says SoHo-based esthetician and Ställe Studios founder Elizabeth Hand.

Best Foam Cleanser:

Aestura ATOBARRIER 365 Foaming Cleanser

Those with dry or damaged skin may be hesitant to use foam cleansers, which are notoriously drying on the skin. Not so with this barrier-repairing ceramide foam from K-beauty brand Aestura. A favorite of dermatologist Dr. David Kim, it creates a lavishly creamy whipped mousse texture on the skin. With a mildly acidic pH that is gentle on skin, it features antioxidant green tea extract to hydrate as it cleanses and a healthy dose of glycerin to soften skin.

Best Cleansing Balm:

Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm

A tried and true way of fully removing makeup, sunscreen, and grime picked up throughout the day, a cleansing balm is a can't-skip skincare step—especially Then I Met You's Living Cleansing Balm. With a buttery-soft texture and a formula that includes sea buckthorn oil for hydration and persimmon extract for brightening, this product goes beyond just cleansing—it provides a sensorial experience while treating the skin. It's no wonder beauty editors and skincare pros swear by it.

Best Exfoliator (physical):

Dr. Loretta Resurfacing Enzyme Polish

Physical scrubs have gotten a bit of a bad rap in recent years for being too harsh and drying on sensitive skin. This hybrid scrub from Dr. Loretta helps rehab the face scrub’s rep. It delivers a gentle resurfacing by combining enzymatic exfoliation from pomegranate with a soft-on-skin bio-fermented polish to dislodge build-up and reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. “The physical component to this scrub is the perfect size and consistency that gently sloughs away dead skin without irritating, while the enzymatic component gently releases dead skin cells,” says Conti. “Potent enough for great results, gentle enough for sensitive skin.”

Best Exfoliator (chemical):

The Things We Do Acid Buff

If you struggle with skin that doesn’t feel completely clean no matter what you wash it with, this chemical exfoliator is your new savior. Made with a tag team of powerful alpha-hydroxy acids, it melts off dead skin, excess oil, and SPF residue with ease, all while keeping skin hydrated and calm.

Best Face Mist:

Augustinus Bader The Face Mist

If you think all face mists are created equal, clearly you haven’t spritzed on this elixir from Augustinus Bader. Powered by the brand’s proprietary TFC8®, which supports the skin’s natural regenerative process, the rosewater-infused mist delivers a sheer layer of hydration as it nourishes, plumps, and refreshes your complexion.

Best Essence:

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Essence

A formula so good, it became a global sensation. This silky essence has a creamy finish thanks to a blend of ceramides, fatty acids, and cholesterol mixed with fermented botanicals. It boosts the skin's barrier and leaves you dewy, hydrated, radiant, and plump. “This essence hydrates, calms, and nourishes my skin in a powerful way that is noticeable after just one use,” says Lee. “Black rice enzymes are extremely reviving for my skin and I have gone through a few bottles of this already.”

Best Moisturizer (PM):

Sofie Pavitt Face Omega Rich Moisturizer

A decadently rich moisturizer that’s safe for acne-prone skin? Only the “acne whisperer” of NYC could pull something like that off. With a blend of omega fatty acids, squalane, argan oil, and vitamin F, Sofie Pavitt’s Omega Rich Moisturizer replenishes dry skin as it balances your oil production and smoothes uneven texture. “I simply cannot live without this one,” says Conti. “I like to think of omega fatty acids as ‘pore lube’ since they help prevent sticky buildup of sebum and dead skin cells inside the pore while balancing oil production. It'll never pill and leaves the perfect glow.” Pore lube, indeed.

Best Moisturizer (AM):

Lancôme Renergie H.P.N. 300-Peptide Cream

Three hundred peptides might seem like overkill, but in this luxe moisturizer, it’s just right. Combined with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, it helps to visibly renew the skin as it improves signs of aging like fine lines, dark spots, and loss of elasticity as it stimulates cellular renewal in as little as two weeks.

Best Vitamin C Serum:

iS Clinical Super Serum Advance+

A vitamin C serum is integral to your daily skin regimen, however this hybrid L-ascorbic acid and tri-peptide is arguably the final boss of antioxidant serums. It has an incredible 15 percent vitamin C and copper peptides that brighten hyperpigmentation, irons out fine lines, and supercharges your sunscreen for ultimate UV protection.

Best Hydrating Serum:

Allies of Skin Advanced Hydrating Serum

The secret to the drenching hydration from this hydrating serum is a targeted mix of beta-glucans (a form of polysaccharide derived from oats, mushrooms, or yeast) and ceramides. Together they quench skin’s thirst by delivering instant and long-lasting hydration. Additionally, resveratrol calms and provides antioxidant support and carnosine helps defend skin from the aging process of glycation.

Best Anti-Aging Serum:

Dr. Diamond Metacine Plasma Serum

You can’t throw a rock these days without hitting an epidermal growth factor (EGF) serum. However, this one from superstar plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond stands above the rest thanks to EGF derived from bioengineered human identical growth factors. They stimulate the skin’s repair process and visibly rejuvenate tired, stressed, and aging skin for a more lifted, firm, and glowy appearance.

Best Radiance Serum:

Sisley Black Rose Concentrate Serum

For those chasing that elusive lit-from-within glow, this new serum from Sisley delivers instant radiance with long-term payoff. Infused with the brand’s signature black rose complex and a brightening astaxanthin to defend against the oxidative stress that quietly dulls skin over time, it works to smooth, plump, and revive dull, fatigued skin in a single step. The texture is silky and fast-absorbing, making it ideal for layering under makeup or using as a standalone glow booster.

Best Serum For Redness:

G.M. Collin Vaskotonic Serum

For anyone dealing with persistent redness or reactive skin, this treatment from G.M. Collin acts like a reset button. Clinically formulated to instantly soothe while reinforcing the skin’s barrier, it targets the root causes of flushing—not just the surface symptoms. A blend of bioferments, botanical extracts, and capillary-strengthening actives works to calm inflammation, support microcirculation, and reduce visible redness over time.

Best Do-It-All Serum

Environ C-Quence Serum 1

Ensuring your skin gets the essential vitamins it needs to look and feel its best is easy with this professional-grade serum from Environ. It has a potent mix of vitamins A, C, & E  to simultaneously smooth lines, brighten, and protect the skin from free radical damage. The addition of peptides adds a firming boost to this refining daily treatment. “I’ve never seen a serum's ability to regulate and build resilience in the skin quite like this,” says Conti. “It reverses the effects of free radical damage while building skin immunity. It’s also a super multitasker so you can scale back your routine and notice major results.”

Best Retinol:

Eighth Day Reparative Night Cream Treatment

After sunscreen, the ingredient dermatologists recommend most to stave off premature aging of the skin is retinol. Unfortunately, some retinoids can be irritating to the skin, especially if you are already sensitive or have a disrupted barrier. This next-gen retinoid from Eighth Day claims to have 250 percent greater potency than traditional retinol without the redness, flaking, and dryness. It has microencapsulated, time-released retinaldehyde suspended in a lush, peptide-rich cream.

Best Acne Treatment:

Sofie Pavitt Face Reset Treatment Mask

Formulated with five percent benzoyl peroxide, this spot treatment mask helps eradicate breakouts and prevent new ones from forming. It contains panthenol to hydrate, glycolic acid to exfoliate, and kaolin clay to absorb excess oil. “When my acne clients begin to work this product into their routine consistently, the results are night and day, especially for deep cystic pimples,” says Conti. “It’s crucial for clearing and prevention.”

Best Eye Serum:

Bioeffect 3xGF Recovery Eye Serum

While it was developed to be used on post-procedure skin, this high-tech serum is a wonder for all gazes. The secret is not one, but two types of EGF to rebuild skin density on thin undereye skin and support natural collagen production. It also features keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) to support skin barrier and boost skin’s natural regeneration cycle. “It smooths, tightens and depuffs all in one easy swoop,” says Hand. “Plus it sets so nicely under concealer.”

Best Eye Cream:

La Mer The Rejuvenating Eye Cream

Tackle multiple signs of aging around the eye area with this luxe eye cream from La Mer. In addition to the brand’s signature Miracle Broth, it utilizes the proprietary Rejuvenation Precision Complex-6 (RPC-6) to plump and soothe the skin as it encourages collagen production. A dual-function eye sculpting complex cocoons the skin to deliver ingredients where they’re most essential and visibly support and lift the undereye area—plus, don’t skip the eye sculpting wand, which helps visibly depuff in seconds.

Best Lip Mask:

Femmue Lip Sleeping Mask

Give your lips a pampering bedtime treat with this overnight lip softener. Instead of feeling gooped up, this squalane-based hydrator melts into your pout to deliver deep moisture as it smoothes fine lines and plumps up the skin. Its high-shine finish and ultra-wearable texture means it can be worn day or night, for soft, flake-free lips.

Best Face Mask:

Lesse Bioactive Mask

If your skin is looking a little lackluster, this weekly treatment is your reset button for radiance. Made with Australian flame tree, rice extract, rosemary, and charcoal powder, it purifies your pores as it refines uneven texture and brightens up uneven tone. “I love using this mask as a light physical exfoliant,” says Soho-based esthetician and SYK Skin founder Soo-Young Kim Abrams. “The kaolin clay, charcoal, and rice extracts gently buff the surface of my skin.”

Best Overnight Mask:

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Overnight Treatment

A night cream that gives your skin cells more energy to repair damage and stimulate collagen, this recharging cream targets adenosine triphosphate (ATP)—your skin’s battery—optimizing everything from barrier function to fighting inflammaging. Apply it at night and skin is more hydrated, softer, and with less noticeable fine lines in the morning.

Best SPF (chemical):

Beauty of Joseon Day Dew Sunscreen SPF 50

The FDA-approved version of the viral Korean sunscreen beloved by TikTok, Day Dew feels more like an airy moisturizer than an SPF. It has hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and panthenol in its formula which gives the skin moisture, nourishment, and antioxidant protection as it shields you from the sun’s damaging rays. The lightweight texture also means it's easy to reapply, ensuring you get the all-day SPF coverage you need. “I wasn't expecting too much from this product when I first tried it but I instantly fell in love with how nicely it wore on my skin and how it performed with my makeup,” says Lee. “I don't wear anything less than SPF 50 everyday and this has easily become my new favorite.”

Best SPF (physical):

Lightsaver Activated Mineral Sunscreen

Developed by NYC dermatologist and K-Beauty expert Dr. David Kim, this whipped zinc oxide-based SPF both protects the skin from UV damage and helps address the signs of daily sun exposure as you wear it. The secret is liposome-encapsulated phytolase—activated by the light, it repairs UV-induced damage. Available in untinted or tinted formulations, it’s enriched with hydrating squalane and antioxidant niacinamide and lignonberry for a mineral sunscreen that protects the skin on multiple levels.

Best Face Oil:

Yon-ka Serum Omega

If your barrier is constantly irritated or depleted, your skin can’t hold onto enough moisture to keep it adequately hydrated. This nourishing serum from Yon-ka consists of 60 percent plant-derived omega fatty acids to restore the skin barrier as it locks in moisture and relieves dryness and discomfort on contact. Skin looks smoother, more glassy, and supple after every application.

Best Insider Skincare Secret

SIV Biome Balancing Serum

All of the estheticians on our nominating committee have been raving about this acne-clearing serum from SIV and for good reason—it has an adaptable probiotic made from bacillus spore that harmonizes your microbiome. This helps reduce the amount and severity of acne lesions as it keeps the skin hydrated and calm. “It’s my quiet hero for true skin correction, calming acne, irritation, and eczema with zero irritation,” says Hand.

Best Shampoo for Dry Hair:

TRESemmé Rich Moisture Shampoo

Caring for dry hair without further damaging it means loading up on hydration—and that starts in the shower. Many hair cleansers can dry out the hair shaft and the scalp as they clean away dirt and oil, leaving hair stripped and straw-like. Infused with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and niacinamide, this lush shampoo gently cleans as it infuses hydration into your strands. “I love that this gently refreshes the hair without overdrying it,” says celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan. “It has a great lather and leaves hair feeling soft and silky.”

Best Shampoo for Color-Treated Hair:

Ceremonia Champú de Guava for Damage Repair

Repair and protect damaged, color-treated hair with this decadent shampoo from Ceremonia. It has guava and aloe vera to help both repair and protect your strands from stressors like UV rays, saltwater, and chlorine. Color is vibrant and hair is soft and silky after each wash.

Best Shampoo for Coily Hair:

PATTERN Hydration Shampoo

Wash day gets a lot less stressful when you add this hydrating cleanser from Tracee Ellis Ross’ Pattern line to your shower schedule. It gently cleanses away build-up to avoid stripping natural oils from coily hair, as honey, coconut oil, and aloe vera juice help detangle, soften, and moisturize your locks.

Best All-Around Shampoo:

RŌZ Foundation Shampoo

Celebrity stylist Mara Rozak’s Roz hair-care collection was an immediate hit among in-the-know hair pros the minute it hit the scene. Rozak has managed to do the seemingly impossible by creating a shampoo that works for all hair types and textures, gently cleansing as it balances the scalp with coconut-based surfactants and moisturizing ceramides. “I love that this is an easy, everyday shampoo that can work on all hair types,” says Marjan. “It's gentle and clean, so it's great for everyone.”

Best Conditioner for Dry Hair:

R+Co Bleu De Luxe Reparative Conditioner

Fragile, dehydrated hair will meet its match after one dose of this mega-hydrating conditioner. Made with nourishing botanical oils and extracts, it cocoons hair in moisture as it detangles and repairs. Even the most toasted tresses will look shiny, soft, and more resilient after use.

Best Conditioner for Coily Hair:

Fenty Hair The Rich One Moisture Repair Conditioner

Rihanna dropping a haircare line is the best thing to happen since Rihanna dropped a makeup line. Curly and coily hair will drink up the moisture provided by green coconut water and Fenty’s exclusive Replenicore-5 complex. Celebrity hairstylist Ursula Stephen swears it helps revive all types of curls—from waves to coils—smoothing, strengthening, and repairing split ends as it detangles and nourishes.

Best Hair Mask:

Blu & Green Weekly Repair Mask

Thick and powerful, this concentrated cream mask from James Pecis can be used weekly to repair and reinvigorate distressed locks. It has glycerin, hydrolyzed quinoa, and rice extract to bulk up strands and promote thicker, stronger hair. Lactic acid helps act as a humectant to draw moisture into the hair as it protects from damage caused by both UV rays and heat styling.

Best Leave-In Conditioner:

Virtue Strength & Shield Leave-In Conditioner

This high-tech leave-in goes above and beyond just hydrating your hair. It has the brand’s signature Alpha Keratin 60ku, which is bioidentical to the hair’s own keratin and clinically proven to replenish lost keratin that can make hair dry, dull, and prone to breakage. Celebrity hairstylist Xavier Velasquez applies it to wet hair to soften, strengthen, detangle, defrizz, and protect hair from heat styling and UV damage.

Best Bond Repair Product:

K18 Molecular Repair Mask

This mask from K18 is a must-have for those that are in a serious relationship with bleach, according to celebrity hairstylist Reece Walker. It has a biotech developed peptide that helps reverse damage caused by hair dye, heat styling, and chemical processing. By reconnecting disulfide bonds and polypeptide chains that have been broken, it repairs and strengthens hair at a molecular level to ensure it keeps your hair soft, bouncy, and shiny. “This actually delivers the results you want it to, leaving the hair looking and feeling stronger and healthier,” says Marjan.

Best Hair Oil:

Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil

Liquid gold for your locks, Stephen swears this luxe oil blends together the richest and most nourishing botanical extracts to deliver moisture, heat protection, and a shine so glassy, hair is practically reflective.

Best Air-Dry Product:

Crown Affair The Smoothing Air Dry Cream

If you’ve ever air-dried your hair and wound up with a frizzy pouf on your head instead of the beachy waves you were aiming for, this cream is for you. It helps define your curl pattern, reduce frizz, infuse hair with moisture, and provide a gentle hold without weighing down your strands. Both Marjan and Velasquez count this as a kit staple for air-drying.  “This is such a great product for letting the hair air dry without frizz,” says Marjan. “If you have waves in your hair it defines them beautifully.”

Best Texturizing Spray:

Bumble and bumble Dry Spun Texture Spray

There is a fine line between volumized texture and a crunchy coif. While building volume in fine hair requires giving the hair some structure, you don’t want to create a texture so stiff your hair feels hard or sticky. This texture spray adds some oomph to your ‘do without shellacking strands in place. Instead, hair is soft, tousled, and perfectly inflated to that “I woke up like this” cool girl look—it’s no wonder Stephen and Walker are both fans.

Best Curl Cream:

Adwoa Beauty Baomint Leave-In Conditioning Styler

"Keep your curls looking lush with this mega-moisturizing leave-in cream from Adwoa. It infuses curly hair with omega fatty acids to moisturize strands and help retain essential moisture. The rich cream softens coils and adds slip to help with detangling as it defines your natural curl pattern. “I use this a lot on curly hair as it helps moisturize, separate, and define while leaving the hair soft and flexible,” says Marjan.

Best Hair Gel:

Oribe Rock Hard Gel

For ultimate hold without the hard shell, reach for this cream gel from Oribe. It gives you a stay-put style and glossy shine, but moisturizes instead of drying out your locks. “There's just nothing like it,” says Marjan. “It locks in slick looks and sleek styles without looking stiff or crunchy.” Pecis swears by this cream-gel as a kit staple when keying hair looks backstage, too.

Best Hairspray:

Chris McMillan The Major Hair Spray

A hairspray that strengthens and protects your strands? Only the legendary Chris McMillan could make that happen. Powered by proprietary actives, it seals hair from the outside in, protecting your hair from heat and overenthusiastic brush strokes that can tug and break your delicate strands. It also delivers a glass-hair shine and is formulated to work with all hair types and textures; both Walker and Velasquez swear by its buildable, brushable powers and all-day hold.

Best Hair Growth Product:

Omi Hair Peptides

Whether it’s postpartum, stress, hormonal changes, or genetics, hair loss can be one of the most frustrating beauty issues to overcome. These capsules from Omi are designed to help you see thicker, fuller hair with less breakage. The all-star formula blends clinically proven ingredients like niacinamide, biotin, vitamin B6, and a cocktail of minerals to strengthen and regenerate your follicles so hair looks and feels thicker and more abundant. Colorist Reece Walker swears they’re “super fast acting, with incredible results.”
